    People are far to quick to cry foul and scream censorship.

    they aren't prevented from doing the edits, they just have to do it in THEIR OWN TIME. government computers and resources are not there to contribute to wikipedia.

    Well, thinking australia is a military outpost for america is common misconception even among australian's, so i can hardly blame forgieners for having no clue.

    the fact is, we are no more an outpost for america then they are for us or any other allies.

    as far as culture goes, it's hardly suprising we take a lot of it in, we are an english nation surrounded by asian's, and their culture is so alien to us it's hard to even comphrend a lot of it, so it's hardly a suprise we don't embrace it as much.

    Funny though that he is taking some kind of high ground. still even though it's been proven in court that nothing belonging to SCO has been infringed on.

    There are already shitloads of better phones then the iphone. all of them unlocked and in the EU.

    And apple aren't locked out, they have every oppertunity to supply the iphone as long as they play by the laws of the country they are trading in, just like everyone else.

    This is score one for consumers, by disallowing stupid vendor lock in.

    Heroes is a good show, people will pay for it. i reckon of those 1.5million pirate downloads atleast 1/2 would pay $2 an ep. to download it.

    that's 1.5million per ep. just in download revenue in just one country. 24 shows to a season, that's the same amount of sales as most movies take at the box office.

    some area's aren't densely populated it's true, but what excuse do you give for cities like NY? by your logic NY would surely be all fibre.

    don't be stupid and think japan is a small place, it's actually quiet large, not your small island at all.

    your also ignoring the fact many EU countries with less dense populations have better access then the USA. explain that one away genius.

    i know.

    i'd say i learnt 50% of what i know about pc's and technology in general on equipment that is still out there and working today, and that can be had for $50 or less.

    so i guess that the moral of the story isn't to cook up such stupid ideas, put a price tag on it and THEN try make the project fit the price tag. it's poor managment if i ever saw it.

    things cost as much as they are going to cost. I can annouce the $100 aeroplan with 100% first class seating for all, but it's still going to cost more then $100 no matter how much i wish otherwise.
