no, it goes towards their core values, which is VERY influential on issues like which science research to fund. thank guys like this for bans on stem cell research.
Anyone stupid enough to believe a big man in the sky made the world in 7 days, that the world is only 6000 years old and dinosaurs were just some how left out of the bible by accident won't have any good reasons for believing it.

It's the most unreliable piece of shit news site i've ever encountered. last i tried to use it clicking on a news time redirected me back to the main page after showing a database error.
they certainly aren't doing this to steal their crap source code.
it's a pretty far stretch to claim this is an act ordered by fox as well, people don't JUST do what their company orders they can have other motives you know.
i understand the point of your post, are you trying to be a spelling nazi and pick on the "your" or that the nick "timmarhy" isn't an acurate enough representation of the timmy character from south park (since after all that's what the nick is a tribute to)
Your an idiot. many women like the rough look of being 1/2 shaven. My facial hair grows very quickly and trying to stay clean shaven for more then a day isn't possible, so i leave it 1/2 grown most of the time and women love it.
So stop trying to be an ass and claim you speak for every woman on the planet.
I'd lay money that a quick survey of./ would show the majority of males here are married with kids or long term parteners. take your misconceptions else where dickwad.
the judicial system's very purpose is to interperate the law, and to test it in court. You have ZERO understanding of how the legal systems works if you think all judges do is rubberstamp the law.
open your damn ears, haven't you ever heard of laws being thrown out on account of them failing to hold up in court on a consitutional challenge?
"It does tell absolutely nothing with regard to power"
err, it tells us the size of the charge. i guess all those companys that make batteries and label them by voltage don't know as well as you.
voltage - the "size" of the electrical flow
amps - how fast it's beign drawn
watts - volts * amps, or in laymans terms how much power is being used.
Since they don't know how long a person might live, they can't say amp hours, and since they don't know amp hours they don't know watts. that just leaves volts as a measurement.
they use a special trench digger that digs and lays the cable from a big spool at the same time. it costs upwards of $300AUD an hour to hire not to mention the planning and other labour costs involved, government approval, environmental concerns. it's a nightmare.
I think this idea that no new science is going on is just scare mongering to try get more fat cat grants. There's plenty of research going on in every field. sure we could always use more, but that's up to the individual to get involved.
hardly. It's not your fault, but most people have a lot of trouble comprehending large numbers of things. I'd guess nokia will simply have all their dealers as collection sites, and have them send the boxes back to them where they will scan the bar code on the battery to mark it as returned and then ship the batteries off to a scrap metal recycler. 43 million would amount to a couple of road train loads.
i'd be suprised if there was significant labour invovled in the process.
"at this point the oil is going to be pretty much used up "
asshole greenies have been spouting that bullshit about oil running out for the last 20 years, and there's still millions of barrels produced every day. crude oil is a finite resource, there's no doubt, but please PLEASE stop talking this rubbish that we are going to run out of oil in our life times. Your basing this on absolutely nothing but propaganda from various anti government organisations.
hell when i was in high school they were telling us it was a FACT that we'd be all out of oil by 2010. utter rubbish.
huh, what kind of simplistic world do you live in? "update key command" on several million routers, you must be fucking with us, because surely must see how that would never ever work.
"But arguing against it because it has been poorly implemented and misused in the past is counterproductive."
No, it shows a clear demonstration of how impossibly hopless it is to do this in a secure manner.
That has to be THE most misleading piece of bullshit i've heard from the music industry so far.
while compression does remove many frequencies from the uncompressed track, only about 90% or less of those frequencies ARE FUCKING AUDIBLE IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU -ASSHATS-
10x compress of the music does NOT == 10x less music.
HDCP can go fuck itself, and so can anyone that supports it. My $7000 JVC hd tv has a hdmi port that's busted PURELY due to a HDCP bug. i've been waiting MONTHS for the fix.
This has nothing to do with TV companys get a "free ride" and everything to do with slimey telco's over subscribing their network, and then lieing about it.
think harder. think science.

we priced fibre here at work for communications to one of our remote sites ("here" is a desert mind you) and it was $80,000AUD per km ($60,000USD).
This stuff isn't layed by a few guys digging a ditch with some shovel and throwing in a bit of cable you know....
land of the free indeed....
Why couldn't it be genetic? by your logic all identical twins would die of the exact same things. environment can be the trigger for many illnesses.
No babies come from ass sex either remmeber.

circular use of space is highly inefficent. ever tried to stack a pile of balls? there's a lot of wasted space there.
This is all besides the point that you build a house to fit around YOU, not the other way around.
of course it's inventor would be loath to admit any failings.

err, learn to read and you might see that's far from the only concern being voiced. there is no muddying of the waters, the danger is clear.
