    I'm australian, and i don't see how our government is WORSE? sure there's a few idiot senators and back benchers that have voiced moronic ideas, but as far as i'm aware they haven't even tabled anything like a copyright tax?

    your entire argument is muddled and makes no more sense then some strange homeless guy ranting in the street. you don't even make any kind of point.

    the reality is that the worlds population is leveling out quickly, our rate of population growth has rapidly decreased. based on current figures i'd hazard a guess our population will hit a ceiling at 15 billion or so, which considering the huge resources we have on this planet, is nothing at all.

    you can't see how riding a popular topic can be manipulated by a politician? open your eyes.

    gore's use of global warming uses the exact same play book bush has been using with terrorism. common theme's are fear of the unknown, ignorance of the masses and the apperance of saving the world.

    He sounds like a nightmare.

    do you really want the government dictating the kids you can have? what if you get knocked up and go over the states limit? will they abort like china?

    gore's interest in environmental policy is completely self serving. i think if he had of won you'd all be in a great deal of trouble. i'm no bush lover, but he was the best of a bad choice.

    so what? as long as you are selling it at a profit yourself to retail, you aren't losing out.

    If retail stores are losing ground to ebay, it's time to rethink how they do business.

    Sounds like intimidation and price fixing to me, i'd suggest they stop. the market along with government regulation is the only thing allowed to set prices, anything else is called price rigging.

    besides, are you honestly suggesting that some guy selling a few items on ebay, lets say 20 at best, is going to bring down a $60,000,000 retail chain? ebay is a place you can sometimes snag a bargin, not somewhere that replaces a retail store.

    botnets primary method of infection is through sending people infected files, which they then willfully run. how does that have anything to do with remote infection?

    if you want to compare apples and apples, lets compare lastest version's vista and OSX ? there is only one remote exploit i know of in vista and that's in the speech command stuff.

    what i've been trying to get at, is it's no good to sit on your collective mac highhorses and claim viruses don't effect you, because they do, and they have the same potential to screw up your system.

    Numerous? i seriously doubt it's "Numerous". name me 10 or more seperate projects canned when purchased by a competing software firm. i can think of maybe 5 off the top of my head in the last 10 years.

    learn to read. i clearly stated MS EOL'd win98 after 9 years. it was in the first sentence. kind of hard to miss.
