make your facebook page a fake news site about yourself. put so much fake stuff about yourself on your facebook page that they can't figure out anything about you. fake jobs, fake people, fake vacations, fake relatives. everything.
Doesn't work. Facebook builds profiles based on what your comments say and pages you join and things you like.
You can't apologize for other people misusing your product. Should Papa John apologize for fat people? Should Ben and Jerry's? Should Winchester apologize for the Winchester rifle? Should Budweiser apologize for drunk drivers? Should Einstein apologize for the nuclear bomb? The internet can be used for good and bad, just like anything else.
If I use the internet to instigate a riot that burns down hundreds of homes because a cop shot a drug dealer that is not the internet's fault, it's my fault.
That is correct. Alexa seems to get answers right more often than Siri. Seems like Amazon listens to every question and makes sure there is an answer next time, sort of like good customer support should do. Siri says it does not know the answer and Apple doesn't add answer later. In the smart assistant game Amazon is slaughtering Apple and Apple could be in real trouble if Alexa sales continue like this and Amazon tries to make a decent smartphone again in a few years.
Amazon makes money from people ordering Amazon products through Alexa. Also it's a new "app" marketplace they can start charging app developers to use.
You need the audio output on the echo dot because it's not designed for music, it's just an Alexa interface. Homepod is designed to play music, and reviews say it does this very well.
Sounds like what they have now, but the models that were X models are now base models. The 1600x is a 6 core that does 3.6 to 4.0. Now the 2600 is a 6 core that does 3.4 to 3.9. Hope I'm wrong and these new CPUs are amazing but from the looks of it this is just rebadging.
But then teachers could pick what times to work and what days to work like Uber drivers do. I don't how that would work, you'd need a giant pool of teachers and even then you'd end up picking the teachers that will be there during school hours so the end result would be the same as employees.
How many times in this thread does he have to write "X is one of those criteria, but..." before you get the fucking point that they are very clearly independent contractors?
Fixed that for you. They're very clearly independent contractors. They work the hours they want on the days they want for the pay they want. Doesn't get much more independent than that.
A properly run gig economy business takes the money from the rich company that gave the employees a tiny salary and gives it directly to the employee, cutting out the middle man. If properly run, gig economy businesses do not need offices, buildings or employees, everything can be done through a webpage or app, and even development, marketing and support can be done through gig economy, so everyone is working for themselves at rates they believe are fair.
Or maybe the whole "gig economy" was just a fad that was not going to be sustainable for anybody---something that could tide you over in 2009 when you were laid off and couldn't find a new job in the "recovery," but nothing you would want to do as a career.
As someone who started a gig economy website in 2009 that is still growing and profitable (unlike Uber) in 2018 I can attest that it is not a fad, at least not in my market.
But he's asking that we delete public history which is absurd. If the courts wanted it sealed they had that option. Part of his sentence was his conviction be public for all to see forever. I'd have a little more sympathy if this crime happened 30 years ago before the internet, but this is 10 years ago, anyone that committed a crime then should expect they could be on the internet as a criminal.
Forgive me, but sometimes I don't understand why it's fine to judge someone based on if they support the NRA or Planned Parenthood or Trump, that we can discriminate and harass them legally, but if we judge someone based or skin color or sexual orientation or religion, it's automatically wrong. Isn't it wrong to judge anyone? Isn't every person their own person? Sounds like there should be many more protected groups or no protected groups.
I think the majority people occupying a country have the right to decide who else should be allowed in the country. For example, if I have 3 roommates, and they decide to add another roommate that I object to, they are the majority and should decide if they can add another roommate.
But that is not what is happening in many western countries. Instead, I want another roommate and my 3 roommates object, but I'm doing it anyway. And I do it again, so now I have 2 roommates I've added the other 3 didn't want. Then I do it again, and now my new roommates and I are the majority, and we continue to ignore the objections of the first 3 and continue to add roommates that I selected and side with me. That is not right.
Are you kidding? Facebook probably wrote the law. It's just a pop up and if you click NO I do not give CONSENT they just won't give you access to Facebook. Great job congress, now we have to give them more permission to steal our data
Exactly. How can legislators not see that this is worthless? We will have a pop up on every website/app demanding CONSENT and if we click NO the website/app won't let us have access. Congratulations on passing a law to add another pop up to all websites and apps.

I think you can buy an iPhone with 512GB. If not then probably an iPad. You could probably find 25,000 apps below 20MB each and install them all. I wonder if iOS can handle that (would need a few thousand screens just to display them all).
Iphone maximum storage has been at 256gb since 2016 with the iPhone 7. Latest iPad Pros can be had with up to 512gb. Iphone has doubled storage every two years since 2008 so this year's iPhone (9? 11? XI?) should have up to 512gb.
"sex marketplace website"?? Really?? That's likes saying "Google, the pedophile search engine". Just because someone posted something inappropriate does not mean the entire website is devoted to only that.

Actually gig economy came to software developers first with sites like freelancer.com

Because they can't set their own rates, like the parent said.
When they refuse a job because it pays too low but accept another one because the pay is sufficient, they just set their own rate.

A few decades ago, this used to be called corruption.
But then we passed legislation...
WE? Oh you mean the legislators getting paid off passed legislation allowing themselves to take bribes legally. That's not we.
"they donated to someone's campaign, so OBVIOUSLY they're going to get better treatment!" is disingenuous at best, and batshit crazy at worst.
If you pay someone they treat you better. How is that disingenuous or crazy? It's true.
As to your second question, if 25,000 smal apps could be installed, the answer is yes. 49,140 is the limit https://www.lifewire.com/how-m...

Backpage had plenty of legitimate advertising, when does google and twitter and Facebook get shut down for the same reasons?
