    Well now. If you're a refugee (fleeing the town you came from) and you're lying about what town you came from, how in hell is one to make the determination that you're an actual refugee? Same with name.

    Is that zero tolerance and "not fair"? Too friggin' bad, it's incumbent upon the "refugee" to satisfy the curiosity and belay the suspicions of the "host". The host is in no way encumbered with the requirement to ignore deception.

    You can still search by genre, but they made it more difficult than it used to be (or needs to be).

    It's difficult because completely unrelated stuff comes up under whatever genre you're searching. Amazon's the same.

  11. Sugar is not bad. Just don't over do it. Too much "natural unprocessed fats that are not burnt" aren't good for you either. So by the same logic, they're bad as well, just with a higher threshold.

  12. Unlike heroin, coffee is only addictive to those who are apparently genetically disposed to that addiction. When I don't drink coffee for a while (Just don't get out of the house to get some. Sometimes a week.) I experience none of those symptoms. Not even a slight headache. So, no, it's not addictive in the same manner heroin, coke, etc are.

    You neglected to mention that the abusers weren't allowed to actually, you know, *abuse* their 'charges'. It was all a scripted play. It shows nothing about people's real behavior and shouldn't convince you it does unless you're one of those that think playing GTA makes you a cold blooded killer.

    Mostly they look down on social science because things like this example where the studiers actively meddled with the ongoing experiment to influence the outcome are quite common. "Social Science" is not soft, it's fucking plastic.

    The entire setup was so obviously not "real world" that no one could *possibly* think they were assuming real roles, meaning there could be no natural behavior to study. Those college kids suddenly believed they were *really* prisoners and guards? Bullshit. Not even Social Science majors are that clueless.

    They knew the nature of the situation then. They were all *informed* it was a play up front and how their roles were to be displayed. It was not a test. It was a production.
