It is a font problem...if you want to use Firefox and/. happily, teach yourself to quickly type the keystrokes "CTRL -" immediately followed by "CTRL +" and then you can almost instantly fix the problem.
Supposedly this is getting fixed in 1.0, so I am a bit surprised that it isn't in the preview release.
I test on Firefox on Windows and Mac, and IE6 on PC. I don't bother with Opera, but if it works in IE6 and works in Firefox, it covers a large enough % of the world to not really need to hassle with any of the other browsers.
Sure, some people still use IE4 and NS4. If my sites don't work in those browsers, no real loss because they don't signify a large enough percentage to matter. If someone using such a browser complains, I send them download links to newer versions.
Actually the company is Tailor Made Meals and while they aren't advertising directly on the barter group site (I'm not either for that matter), they are members and accept barter bucks as payment.
I am able to trade out computer services for barter bucks which I can use to get food catering, so I don't have to spend time shopping/cooking.
The added bonus of joining a barter group is that people are way more willing to spend barter bucks than cash, so you can get value out of people who wouldn't otherwise pay you. It is also good for increasing business when you don't have a lot of it already.
The stock market is definately a scam. I learned the hard way myself, losing $2M in "paper money" on an IPO venture during the dotbomb era. The stock market exists simply to keep the money in the hands of the rich and steal it from the middle class.
If you know HTML and CSS really well, all you need to do is learn Photoshop. While its learning curb isn't the smallest, it is really easy to use once you get the hang of it. There are plenty of (free) online tutorials if you Google for them.
To get you started, try out designload.net, they have templates already done, which you can open up in Photoshop and play around with. Once you know how to make pretty navbars and buttons, and can find colors that don't clash with each other, you can go out and make the custom "fancy" web sites that you probably used to drool over.
Stock photos also can give a site the edge you need...if properly placed they can give your sites that "professional" edge.
1. To combine (a column of figures, for example) to form a sum. 2. To join or unite so as to increase in size, quantity, quality, or scope: added 12 inches to the deck; flowers that added beauty to the dinner table. 3. To say or write further.

1. To find a sum in arithmetic. 2.1. To constitute an addition: an exploit that will add to her reputation. 2.2. To create or make an addition: gradually added to my meager savings.
Note, "advertisement" is not part of the definition. "Ad" is a marketing slang for "advertisement", "add" is a different word entirely.
McAfee made it big based off of the Michealangelo virus back in the day. He helped fuel the media frenzy and proposed a "free" solution to that virus - which of course could be upgraded to a paid solution to scan for other viruses.
woodcontour.com seems pricey...
Comparatively, I priced out a desk at Home Depot, made out of solid cherry wood and Corian, and it was only around $2500.
Check out Digital Tigers, they have a wide range of badass multi-monitor solutions. The most insane of which is the TigerVista Arena Elite.

First, Google does crawl dynamic sites using GET variables.
Second, if you install apache's MOD_REWRITE you can change all your dynamic pages to "appear" static, thus allowing them to be more easily indexed.
