"USB mouse support in linux has been as robust or more robust than Windows for quite a while. What usually is the problem is the distribution's config tools."
"So have you bothered to file a bug report about it with SuSE? Or just decide to cluelessly bash Linux on/.?"
Wouldn't "mouse support" include the tools used used to configure the mouse and if so how could you call it robust? It's really sad to see zealots "cluelessly bash" a new linux user because they're frustrated when something as simple as mouse support fails.
"With Windows, USB mouse support seems flaky."
So does this argument...
"Sick of people being jealous because gentoo's package management system is better?"
Sick of people posting unrelated gentoo plugs? Me too!
"I spent a few long hours recently trying to get the old drivers to work with Fedora Core 1 so I'm going to hold off on these new ones."
If one of the Fedora XFree86 developers has his way with FC 2 you won't even be able to start X if any files from XFree86-Mesa-libGL, which currently conflicts with the nvidia driver, are missing or overwritten. And as of right now the 1.0-5328 installer overwrites 4 files so unless something changes nvidia users might get locked out of X in the upcoming release. Scary, eh?
Wow, you're clever! Good job on noticing the difference. Give yourself a pat on the back for me, RiCh.
Not FFMpeg! That is all.
I've noticed a lot of stories on slashhdot have been first reported from digg.com. Is it too hard to report on stories that aren't covered elsewhere?
Indeed, potheads making up words shouldn't get "5 Insightful." Then again, this is slashdot where ignorant moderators are a dime a dozen.
How about some real news? How about stuff that matters?

Remember that most Slashdot editors would suck Steve Job's schlong if given the chance.
ZxCv, you're a fucking retard.
