    Blowing it up removes it from immediate use but it does still emit toxins. If the material is not all explosive but a variety of chemicals that is just a nasty mess. Without a chemistry degree and extra training on those particular chemicals and how they might mix I just can't say.

    It's also a good way to exercise and train people who will most likely not see a terrorist attack in their career. No that is not my idea of good but it is why so many people are being consulted both because it is a complex task, it will foster cooperation across state and federal boundaries and it spends a bucketful of money we don't have.

    What idiocy. Couldn't they have used the same public key in every camera then encoded a hash and stuff it in metadata? They would control the secret key and their software would ship the image and metadata to them for validation. Or is that still too simple?

    A friends novel was posted on megaupload. It will soon be a $6 dollar download via Baen's website. The sad thing is the version is before the advanced reader copy even came out. It is not the polished work that made it to hard cover.

    It's almost like Duke Nukem but there is an actual device that will probably get a few soldiers killed and a couple of billion tax payer dollars squandered trying to make it actually do what they say.

    I've read what has been allowed to us public peons and I am not impressed. I love high tech, this is not it. It's too many things, it's too small of a projectile, it's too complicated as an all-in-wonder device.

    There are far superior tools that have a proven record,

    Mostly it is just that. I want dual touch screens with one being AMOLED and the other being eink. Both of them need to accept touch. I can live with both of them being the size of a paperback. I want it to be a phone via speaker, earbud or bluetooth along with all the amenities, wifi, tethering etc.

    As it is my current smartphone is more powerful than every computer I had in the 80s and 90s combined. This should be faster. :)

    Not long. What actually worked was when the local community there had an economic incentive to care for the Rhino and exploit them. They had an incentive to defend their Rhino and make sure they were healthy. When Rhino products were made illegal the local community went on to do other things and the poachers moved in to exploit the resource.

    Was it common for motherboard makers to use bad caps after the problem was known? I bought a Gigabyte motherboard I think in 2002 that failed with burst capacitors.

    Sucks to be you. What should happen is the ticket originator should jack their price up until the scalpers profit margins no longer make it worthwhile. There are several means to do this that don't require some jack booted thug to get involved.

    If the service is reasonably priced it's worth it. My parents used a debit card for the FIRST time this year. ... When they told this tale to me to me I was reminded of wagons rolling across the desert being beset by indians. It was to them a herculean effort. ;)

    I had a phone like that. It was my first phone. An Erickson. With the extended battery pack it was heavy enough to damage pants and muggers. Now I'm happy with a Galaxy S but I will see if that Dutch phone can be made to work for my parents.

    We don't keep coders on staff except for the hardware engineers who also write the low level drivers and the libraries for them. All of our code that is not about interfacing hardware is done in India.

    I'd suggest looking at postings and trying to weed out the more sleazy head hunters. Contact all of your friends and acquaintances and ask them what their company uses.

    Highly detrimental. I should say "Tasty and manageable" in the future.

    "We breed chicken/pig/cow to be a tasty treat. We're bred to eat that tasty meat."

    With allergies and such we might find that we've restricted ourselves to very limited food choices. Even now I know people who have limitations on what food they can eat to such an extreme that I'm amazed they can live.
