    You can buy the plastic coated metal ties by the spool in a variety of colors. http://www.uline.com/BL_3153/Plastic-Colored-Twist-Ties-Spools?desc=Plastic+Colored+Twist+Ties+-+Spools. Several Asian brand televisions used these to hold the degaussing coil in place on TV's.

    Cable lacing is one of the more elegant looking and robust methods of cable management but it is also the most labor intensive and hardest to maintain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cable_lacing It's now relegated to devices requiring high reliability.

    Gerber died when they got caught up with Walmart. They geared up to produce an insane amount of product and let their standard line wither and then Walmart kept reducing what they'd pay. All the capital investment was in place so Gerber followed the remaining gravy train to the grave. They're now owned by Fiskars. It's like buying ginsu knives now.

    Try Al-Mar stainless Damascus knives. They'll cut through a pineapple with finger pressure and can cut beef or chicken insanely thin.

    Junk mail funds much of the operating costs of some post offices. Some rural post offices would operate at a loss and have to close if not for junk mail. It's not like spam. Junk mail has an added benefit. A friend burns his and mine and has cut his heating bill about 35 percent. He's signed up for more, specifically stuff that can be burned.

    Amazing actually. I ordered some gifts for a friend then found out they'd moved while the order was in route to their old address.
    I informed Amazon of this and they refunded my money before the packages arrived at the wrong address. I've now reordered them and they are on their way to the new address. I was pretty shocked they'd do this.

    I don't remember my ID. I was a long time subscriber and frequented the C64 area which was run by some user group. They got into some argument with Compuserve and removed all their content. I dumped Compuserve and never heard of user group again. I don't remember which service I picked up after that. I did at one time run a BBS in the DC Metro area that used a C64 and several drives. The BBS was written by a 15 yr old kid whose name escapes me. After I moved back to Indiana I frequented fidonet and then slowly started picking up usenet via UUCP and had an internet address gated through the fidonet system. Then Fidonet went all central control and the internet mostly has killed it.
