  2. 400 Employees? on Taxes Lead Angry Birds Maker Rovio To Consider Move To Ireland · · Score: 1

I have played all the Angry Bird games and have really enjoyed them, but I find it hard to believe that it takes 400 people to bring Angry Birds Space to my tablet. I guess I could imagine that it takes a group of 5 people to construct the game and then another 5 to support/manage them. But 400?

  3. Recent Survey on Creationism on Classroom Clashes Over Science Education · · Score: 1

The number of people who believe that God has his hand in the creation of the world has not changed much in the last 30 years. What is going to change in the near future to make a difference in those numbers? If people haven't figured it out in the last 30 years, I have my doubts that 30 more years is going to make much of a difference. http://www.gallup.com/poll/155003/Hold-Creationist-View-Human-Origins.aspx

  4. You get what you pay for on Why Google Is Disabling Kids' Gmail Accounts · · Score: 2, Insightful

It seems like a lot of people are unhappy with Google's FREE service. If you don't like how Google is running THEIR business, start your own or find one that is age appropriate for kids. I fail to understand why people get mad when they can't get exactly what they want from a company that is offering their services for no additional charge to the user. If the users were paying something, ie AOL, then i would understand.

The word and concept of "exploration" is not necessarily human related. Animals and robots acting on our behalf can and do "explore." Why did the chicken cross the road? I would argue: "to find new resources and to expand it's knowledge of the surrounding area." Sounds like exploring to me. I don't necessarily disagree that humans should at some point wander around Mars and beyond, i think that the available tech for human travel beyond LEO is still too costly to bring us enough return on our investment.

  7. Re:No it isn't on Tattoos For the Math and Science Geek? · · Score: 1

Most jobs are "at will." This can translate to someone not liking your tattoo or color of your skin and finding a way for you to be let go. Ever been 1 minute late to work? Failed to make finish a project on time? Checked your bid on ebay on the company computer? These are all reasons a company could give for letting you go. Trying to prove intent in a unemployment hearing is pretty pointless.
I don't disagree with the law or it's intent, but the reality is the law can only be used in extremely flagrant cases.
