Out of all of the companies listed I only see 3 mabey 4 that need a class A the rest should(and probably are) use local only addresses for their internal mahines and have small footprints to the web.
I have a feeling that more energy is used in makeing the phone viberate, and turneing that vibration into electricity then would be generated. By doing this you would lose battery life.
Umm how would they send the right data to the right part of the grid? currently electricity just runs every where...would all of the data go to all locals on the grid? That would eat the bandwith very fast

Look into the company...it seems to be a one-man shop. If I remember the area its in correctly that's a residential address, I will drive by today to verify. This release is from a conshop.
Is it just me or did the graphics on this game seem dated and bad... Not what I had expected from this group I hope the movie isn't as disappointing.

So this dope wants to replace BIOS with Intel's EFI. Well first he obviously hasn't used BIOS in a while seeing that it dose have a neat GUI depending on the system vendor. Add to that the fact that EFI is legacy code...many vendors have been using it for at least ten years (Compaq, IBM, HP ect.) and its a nightmare, imagine your system not booting and you being unable to fix it any time you replaced a hard drive, that s what happens with EFI if you don't get a HD from the vendor.
It actualy works out great. Example the place I work we have something like 20 VB programers for our web service and its buggy and slow. A perl shop I'm familer with has 5, their code is more complex and runs faster with fewer bugs.
I know of at least tow. One is a interface from a credit reporting agency to banks the other is a portal for Liberians tow a major book distributor. I both instances they found Perl to be a faster and more robust system then.net or j2ee
Check your local pbs funding..its mostly (read over 50%) funded by viewers, the next major bit is by corps and endowments, and then about 1% of the funding is from taxes and that number is going down....humm it seems the $ is voteing in this case...lets see fox is funded by a billionare who tells companies that they can't have comercials on any of his stations unless the yhave comercials on his news station....go spread FUD elsewhere
See thats the wonderful thing about PBS...they don't have to make it on there own...that means they dont need to worry about ratings and keeps the PHB's and the marketing drones out. On a side note I see the decline in rateings for wrestiling and NASCAR as a sign that fox is on the way down.
But thata the kicker PBS and NPR have shows on both sides of the issue, have you ever watched or listened? PBS and BBC are the only news sources taht are even close to being unbiased in the US.
Umm I think the point of the article is that the times did something ethical by firing the guy. The reporter did something unethical. Hey did O'Reilly ever apologies for lying about the Clinton staff vandalizing the Whitehouse?
Ahh but thats where we get into the big defrence. PBS has one show thats a propaganda fest for the left , and one that is a propaganda fest for the right (market watch). Fox is a propaganda fest for the right.

Most of it is CNN headline news, so take r leave that There news programs, Jim Lehrer, Front Line, Washington Week ect. all seem to be relitivly unbiaed. Yes they have left wingers on, and rightwingers. The difrence is they let people talk as opposed to Fox news's Bill O'Reilly how just has guests on so he can yell at them.
Rember O'Reilly made his name on inside edition, a tabloid news program. This is why Fox another tabloid news outlet loves him. No one thinks hes a intellectual hes just the clown of the moment, and any one watching Fox news has probably never heard of PBS let alone watched it.
I actualy know of a lot of shops writeing in perl. Mostly in the finacials for there back end stuff, you know the part that has to be quick and secure. J2EE and.net are stupid slow still.

Odd most programmers I know say that about PHP, how many enterprise leve XML projects are built in PHP...I can name a number of them in Perl
