i found on my HP that the sound was extremely tempormental, and would only work as a module. i cant figure out the reasoning behind it, but now that i have a new non-generic card, i'm having no trouble
i tried both 2.6 and 2.6.2 and i must say i wasn't really impressed with either. besides the fact that alot less stuff was echo'ed, the new make xconfig was annoying to work with, and it was actually nicer to just use menuconfig. also, i had a lot of trouble getting the framebuffer to work.
right now, i have a dual boot with 2.4.22, 2.6.2, and windows (in order of preference)
i dont know about ferrari, but i know that porche has been doing this for years. not only can you buy a quarter mil car, you can buy various watches, leather goods, and best of all, there is a porche line of grundig shortwave radios.
i dont recall ferrari doing this before, but I know porche has been doing it for years. not only can you spent a quarter mil on a cool car, you can buy various watches, leather goods, and best of all, grundig makes at least one model of a shortwave radio.
what does the fact that the info was about children? although they may be more at risk to pedophiles, it is ALWAYS a bad thing when confidentially is broken.
although this seems to be exiting for linux's future, i dont think it nessaryily is a great thing. if linux becomes known to everyone (especially the non-techies) as "that cellphone thing", it will become more of a rut for those hoping for it to become a viable desktop for everyone.
i think everyone hates meetings, but are too busy (attempting to)entainertain themselves to close their mouth and end the meeting.
sorry to sound bitter. i am
i was just checking to see if sco.com was down and it dawned on me that whenever an 'evil' company such as sco goes down it is reported on/.. I wonder how much the slashdot effect plays into the consumption of bandwidth of the sites? this may provide to be intresting if someone looks into it...
this is a great idea! not only will this save on milk, if you use coffee milk, you dont need to worry about all that caffinated goodness being diluted.
i heard the other day that london had the most hidden cameras in the world. is not being video taped good enough? i guess now they feel they need to get a 100.0 surround sound speaker system going too.

is this anything really special? it seems to me like its just another variation of a radar jammer at a RFID frequency.

is this a no fly zone? or does it break up airplanes too?
saftey feature = bsod
this sounds like a really cool idea. not to mention being reminicent of tactics used in (cheesy) hacker movies (like "hackers")
that sounds a little too similar to what i did with my fancy TI graphing calculator last week...
dont quote me on this but i think it is like windows 3.11. theres still a 'dos' backbone but a gui will let you run (slightly) newer games.
isn't ironic how a dell article can have a big hp ad (unless your a subscriber)
