How often do you visit your site? It's entirely non-functional with javascript completely disabled and disabling it by domain (digg.com) results in a small empty ugly box. Also is it just me or is the text on the index page changing randomly of its own accord? This is "web 1.9" at best. Yuck.
Also, http://www.treatyist.com/issue1/savetheearth.aspx desperately needs a redesign. Scroll-bars appear yet there is no reason to scroll. Get rid of the moving moon at the bottom.
A less subtle explanation:
Libertarians and Creationists being nutcases is a matter of opinion and although most people on this site have similar political, technological and religious views categorizing groups like you did completely counters the point you're trying to make. Capiche?
The problem is that the newest ideas put into games are either gimmicky, terrible in execution, or blatantly ripping off another title. On the other hand there are series that feel the need to completely revamp a game that played perfectly fine before into something completely new that falls flat on its face.
Splinter Cell IV: Double Agent was ruined by this mentality.:'(
I can understand why this would happen, it's still stupid though. Microsoft's search is an abortion of technology and Yahoo is a Search Directory, how they intend on improving their search tech with a directory site I don't know, but it's guaranteed to be a failed attempt. Hell, I used to run a directory site when I was a teenager (one site even requested to be added to it)! It was nothing more than page after page of lists of links, much like Yahoo was when they first started out. The only difference is that they also had a search box while mine didn't.
The type of gun isn't the point, it's the emotion he's trying to convey. An American soldier could just as easily be using an AK47 if his primary rifle is out of rounds.
Note, I don't know if they take the same kind of ammo or whatnot, that's not the point I'm trying to make.
Seriously... you're an idiot if you are going to twitter about taking a shit or a piss. If you're going to twitter something meaningful, like hey I'm on the subway and its being delayed b/c some jackass jumped off the platform and I'm going to be late to (wherever). Then supposing you're friends are following you they will know... where you are and why you're late.
Twittering is no more idiotic than instant messaging. Its like an email list for instant messaging. It has qualities a chat room lacks like a degree of permanence.
But hey lets make another joke about twittering your bathroom habits and maybe you'll get modded +5 funny and not just redundant.
So I only read the summary when I posted the above message, but I just read the summary of The Free Will Theorem and saw this bit:
We show that this result is robust, and deduce that neither hidden variable theories nor mechanisms of the GRW type for wave function collapse can be made relativistic. We also establish the consistency of our axioms and discuss the philosophical implications.
Nothing can be made relativistic eh? Whoa.. Might this mean that while immortality may not be possible a lifespan of infinity - 1 (insert any unit of time measurement here), at worse, is definitely possible?
Okay. Who's up for proving that immortality is possible now?
So in a more abstract manner, this sounds like existence as we know it is actually one infinitesimal part of an equally appropriate infinit matryoshka doll sequence.
What if you run your own cloud? You'd surely trust your datas safety, then.
OMG I think you're on to something! What if we ALL owned our own clouds? We could then host our own content on our own clouds safely! We could even connect all our clouds together in the form of a network, or "Web" if you will. That would allow us to share all our public information together whilst keeping our private data separated!
Think of the possibilities!
Note: I thought of and typed this post before reading the rest of yours:)

That is all. :)
Please please PLEASE get well soon! :(

I would mod you up if I could.
Thank you.
As a Quebecois I feel the need to say that your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
This is like rock-paper-scissors. Fire torches Eagle. Firefox wins!

Oblig: Le Twittre.

I'm 27 as of not long ago and I agree with both of you JCSoRocks and mcgrew.
I feel so old all of a sudden though. :(
Keep in mind that the end-user will not be exposed to those internal discussions, although they take place in public, open forums.
Huh? If they're public and open, the end use can see them. What are you talking about?
My emphasis.
Wait, you got modded +5 insightful for that? Let me try!
Pervert. .... :)
Aw! I was hoping to RTFA, that's just a picture. :(
They didn't invent the timeout scheme, Ubuntu (at the very least) has it too.
Don't know what you're on, but I'm staying away from you.
My first thought was Scorpion saying "Get over here!"
I'm from Quebec and I agree with you. We have minds of our own and we make ourselves heard. They shouldn't be pulling this crap on us.
