No it doesn't. In fact, you do:

That's only a slur against the working class if you think voting for Trump is the preserve of the working classes. The "left2 couldn't despise the workers that hard if they tried.

    Left cares about the workers?

Ah so that's why the Republicans are bith cutting healthcare and safety regulations. Because they love the workers so much.

Also, the margins on cases should be astronomical, 5 lbs of steel and a few LEDs, an ounce of black paint and a few plastic parts probably take 5-8 dollars in material costs. The only problem in the industree should be that China can make them cheaper which can be solved with the appropriate tariffs.

I would say if you know how to make cases that cheaply you ought to go into business. Yo'd have half the cost and twice the margin of everyone else. It costs much more to produce the case than the raw BoM cost.

You've got to actually manufacture the thing for a start.

You then have to amortise the cost of design and any capital costs over the expected number of units produced.

And that company ain't going to run itself even when the design is done. You need people to do all that stuff and deal with marketing, sales, order fulfilment, supply chain managemant, quality control, regulatory compliance and so on and all the ancilliary things like accounting, personell, and so on and so forth.

You choosing to make litter in a place with no easy disposal is somehow the city's fault? How about some personal responsibility? How about carrying it home with you or not generating the litter in the first place.

If you find litter in your community and there's not a garbage can on every corner, then you should blame your incompetent city council, not litterbugs.

How about blaming the arseholes like you who are too lazy and selfish to arry litter home with them.

England had the death penalty for tons of stuff including in the 18th century mandatory execution for theft of goods worth moor than 12d (12p in metric money) which even then wasn't very much. It didn't deter theft. If it did you wouldn't have had a substantial number of jurors intentionally understating the value stolen to avoid the death penalty.

Or if you prefer you can look at modern day China. Why do they have to keep cranking down on dissent if dissent has incredibly harsh penalties? Because insanely harsh penalties are not a deterrent.

What utter bullshit: the problem is entirely people like you. The criminal justice system has many deep problems relating to the lack of funding for public defenders, zero reprecussions for criminal actions by prosecuters (see how many convistions for witholding evidence there have been), a system stacke towards the prosecution, and the entire plea bargaining system.

Yet morons like you whitter on about "identity politics" when the foundations of your country are on fire. And while the politicians realise they can get your vote by demonising the other tribe rather than fixing the actual problems nothing will ever get fixed.

Stop being part of the problem.

  22. Here's an idea, if you want to stop crime then put criminals in prison. That seems to be working for a lot of places.

No it really isn't. You're already putting more criminals in prison than anywhere else on earth. And you don't have the lowest crime rate. More incarceration in "the land of the free" a.k.a. "the most heavily incarcerated country on the planet" is not the solution.
