    This is true, and several other points have been made in this line: * If you are uncomfortable with the NDA, reassess if you want to work there, because... * It is unlikely you can change the NDA, and... * They very well may decline to employ you simply for bringing the issue up.

    First, this statement has nothing to do with the subject, and is almost certainly a troll. Second, it represents a completely flawed US-centric view that that we "own" the Internet, and we "own" the right to a particular skill, and no one else should have it. For the most part, you are full of shit and have precisely the attitude that forces jobs to outsourcers.

    Which calculator do you have? I still use my HP-41CV, it have many complicated calculations that I've programmed into it, including advanced calculus... Bought it in '82 for $450, new.

    Interesting thing is, if you look even passingly close at US curency, front / back are almost alway different by at least a 16th of an inch, and the margins are never cut the same.

    The copyright laws were intended to allow someone to profit from their idea, but not to own your memories

    What if your "memories" consist of a complete and identical digital copy of a copyrighted work? And suppose (and I know NO ONE HERE does this) that you shair your "memories" with your friends?

    Compared to today's digital timepieces, old-fashioned, sweep-hand watches are pathetic one-trick ponies

    And I like it that way. My cell phone is a phone and my watch is to tell the time. I just plunked down about $400 for a nice Seiko that, guess what, tells time. Looks nice too.
