Actually Nerdorama is a pretty cool store - they had a booth on the danish convention LinuxForum 2004 in spring this year... I spent some time there, and the owner is really cool to talk to and likes to play around...
A picture of their booth: http://linuxforum.dk/2004/pix/chlor/r00180 79.jpg (It's me standing in the LinuxForum 2004 t-shirt)
The interface is simply awsome, and the 'Context' menu is cooooool, displays how many time you played each song, songs from albums etc... Can't wait til 1.1 goes public...
At Amtsgymnasiet i Roskilde (County Gymnasium in Roskilde), Denmark they are currently testing the use of thin clients to...
They are running Gentoo on the servers;-)
Currently they have the server and the 3 first clients and if testing goes well they will by another 27 clients and convert the old P133's to clients as well...
So basicly more schools are beginning to look into the possibility to use thin clients in that envirement... But these guys thought of it 3 years ago.. wauw...
I for one - personally also running Gentoo - think this is going to be great... Alle machines (Win98) are currently running StarOffice / MS Office combination since not all student have StarOffice (even though they could buy it for ~2US$)...
The clients are going to run KDE 3.2, Firefox and StarOffice (i guess, might be OOo though)... Since most work is being done by 2 fellow-students I have the role of morale support so I think we might look into the use of KDE Kiosk, but plain KDE would be alright... (most Win users don't know how to change things anyway...)
Actually Gentoo's docs is written in XML and parsed through XSLT
Example of one of the XML files:
http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gentoo-d k/docs/handbook/finish/hb-install-medium.xml?rev=1.13&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
(The text is in danish, but you'll get the formatting at least)
So even making tables and other stuff comes quite easily...
And yes, I know... I have translated some of the files...
And the overlaying CSS formatting done the the XSLT parsed files just add the the simplicity by adding easy reconizable color-formating...

the point is (if such exist) is that if they had the need to use 6 animaters to create the predecesor - then how meny whould the use to create the game in blazing 3D... think a bit about the cost of the payrolls and figure out why the cut down the game...
then agin - only a strange way or trying to be funny;)
Morten
Thats really a bad call - i luuuuved Hit the Road with all the silly games and ever funny comments by Max...
But hey - the fist game called for a team of something like 6 animaters - what would LucasArts do now they had to fight the battle of 3D graphics... (heh)
Morten (who's sig hasn't learned to talk to the world around it)
HEAnet (ftp.heanet.ie) is (of course) running well, 4 hours old mirror... got to admire that server (well, 2 servers but anyway)
Yet Denmark (were I come from) is really old... approx 140 days... thats why I always download from HEAnet... damm I like that mirror... If only it could use it as an emerge-mirror...
And around 360 DKR (6DKR =~ 1US$, so approx 60US$) for 512(256)/128 flat-rate... (256 because it has recently fallen, so a month ago it was for 256/128...

I'll take amaroK over WMP anyday...
http://amarok.kde.org
It works with both GST, aRts and Xine backends...
