To be fair, the most-recent, non-Abrams Trek films were pretty bad. Insurrection and Nemesis had terrible plots, and paled in quality when compared to First Contact. I had hoped that Abrams could reboot the franchise and take it in an entirely new direction. Sadly, he opted for a cheap way out.
Now, a Michael Bay Star Trek...that has some potential.
All jokes aside, it actually is fairly secure against some types of intrusions. The real issue is maintaining antiquated technology, and making sure new users are trained on it.
If someone really wants to go to college, and major in history, they should still do that. Having a passion or interest in something, even if it might not pay all the bills, isn't a bad thing. That being said, if someone is languishing in college or still on the fence about going, picking up a trade can be a tremendous benefit. They might not stick with it over the years, but it gives them something solid to fall back on.
When I first read that article this morning, I thought I was on the Onion. Sadly, I was mistaken. That being said, having larger holes might make it easier for some children to pick up the sport, and retain it.
Agreed. I'm from Michigan, and still visit on a semi-regular basis. There are a few pockets of independent thought, but the state is still too focused on that union mentality. I just can't see a successful tech culture developing there. Plus the weather really sucks.
Pretty much. Sadly, as long as voters get their one or two ideological issues supported their representatives in the legislature can do whatever they want.
The microtransactions are what really turn me off to F2P games. Most games allow you to progress rapidly to a certain point, then you hit the wall HARD. You either continue to shell out a few dollars here and there, stop playing, or just continue to coast along without spending a dime. If I was just being offered cosmetic items, I wouldn't have a problem. However, in many cases you have zero ability to progress.
It's not really about privacy if I'm allowed to film my family on vacation with a camera, but can't do the same with Google glass. If I'm in a public space, do I really have a right to privacy? I don't think I do.
Depending on the 3-D printer that you have, you can buy the spools of material separately, then load it into a cartridge. You could probably do this on all machines with a small amount of modding.
Mayer needs new drapes for her conference room.
His supporters only care about one or two ideological issues, and nothing else. Sadly, the same is true for most politicians.
Is he really that stupid?
I'm envisioning a Michael Bay remake of Hackers where everyone has a popped collar and chugs Natty Light. Oh, and Megan Fox will be in it too.
It'll be easier for their drones to find me if I have an Amazon phone.

Amen to this!
Wait, they employ a "Digital Prophet." Why didn't Shingy see it coming?
The more time that hack Abrams spends on Star Wars means less time he has to screw up Star Trek even more than he already has.

Nothing is "tricking" me into eating McRibs. I do it because I like the taste!

I guess they found a way to cover the costs of their deal with Comcast.

Same here! My kids play my old GameCube now, and both the console and the two Wavebirds are going strong.

Well, didn't he get a marriage proposal from Anna Chapman? I could sell out for that.
I just enjoy fixing broken code, and making something better. I guess I'm doing it wrong.
Exclusive the the Xbox One...which is why I prefer to play it on my PC.

Same here. I'm running my media and my children's WoW server from an XP box in my office. So far, I haven't had a real need to upgrade it.
Nah, more efficient grilling and seasoning techniques.
