This isn't flamebait, it's true. This ranks up their with asking Slashdotters for legal advice, it's completely retarded.
"Hey Slashdot, should I make a major career change or not?"

First, who cares. Second, if indeed you were happy with Gnome when using it with Fedora, why did you choose to use Kubuntu instead of Ubuntu which is well known to use Gnome as it's default desktop environment. This is just a jab at Gnome masked in such a way to get an 'insightful' mod.
Saying it works does not necessarily imply it is currently working, merely that it is capable of it. Your car sitting in a driveway is not currently working but presumably it does work.
People would use commercial closed source software on Linux and Free OSS on Windows. I mean, wow. There really are people that will choose to use the best tool for the job.
What's so much different between a laser-gun wielding trooper and a lightning-spell chanting wizard?
I can cast, (ok I can tell my character to cast) Thunder on a Thunder based mob and there will be at least some, if not a lot of resistance to the spell. It just won't do as much damage as it would against a Water based mob because of the magical elemental relationships. Explain resistance to a gun or laser weapon.
On top of that, Sci-Fi often pretty much has the requirement that those characters that are engaged in the story have a level of knowledge that fits the world around them. You will never find players that fit that, the world would be as much a fantasy as a real fantasy game.
Hate to break it to you, but simply saying it was a FMV in a game doesn't make it not part of the game. The death of Aeris wouldn't have been important at all if you just saw the cutscene so that wasn't what made it sad. It was all the interactions with the character that made you care about her and then you watched as a giant sword ripped through her.
What smells like Blue?
Good god. They are called rotary phones.
Damn kids.

If I could find it I would buy it in a heartbeat.
It's happened before, no one seemed to mind.
Ya, it sucks that Apple never gave anything back. Oh wait, yes they did.
Top selling 100 games of the past 4 and a half years. How very significant.
You do know not everyone lives in a major city right?
Ah yes the essence of Free software. Try and force people to use it and call it Freedom.
Unless I can upgrade my XP Pro to an Ultimate Xtreem OMG edition I don't care.

Completely retarded, and they stay that way as they get older. Increasing IQ my ass.
And beat them if they know.
Your not a human entitled to respect, you are a human resource no different then any other resource to the company.

I'm shocked. SHOCKED!

Maybe because a bushel is 'A unit of volume measure used as dry measure of grains and produce.'
A windows update is appearing on WindowsUpdate.
