I just don't look forward to the little IT examiner coming in and asking if my use of PostgreSQL in a non-critical database app is more risky because it could be a dead end solution.
The current UK govt. has a terrible track record on It projects. The go back time and time again to the same suppliers that failed them and overran their budget to alarming proportions (notable names here include: EDS, C(r)AP Gemini, Arthur Anderson - the usual suspects...).
The US government isn't much better. How many times has the IRS attempted to modernize? I think that they're still using punch card machines yet.
Then the correct term is either "reanimated" or "resurrected". Perhaps Kerry's surgeon general will be a Hatian voodoo witchdoctor and will spend his time making zombies...

I have no problem if it were required to present ID in order to vote. In our precinct, it appears that we have a representative from both of the major parties there - have them both verify the ID and allow the voter to cast his or her ballot.
At some point people have to be responsible for their actions and realize that a game is just a game. A better question is if those who are buying and playing the game are more predisposed to violence than those who are not?
But it's damn tempting to squeeze in between those lanes of traffic just ahead, and to strafe those slackers in the minivan...
I live in a college city that has about five times (it seems) the normal amount of officers. There's too many police here so they get bored and find things to do.
They're called agents provocateurs, and they're why it's important to record before and after the turd hits the fan. They can often be seen being brought into or out of the protest by police vans or others known to be opposed to the goal of the protest.
Or jerks. Or vandals. They're enough of them to go around when you have a large group of people gathered that you don't need to bring in anyone to start something.

You could have GTA3:Grand Forks! And you replace the fast cars with tractors and cows! Think about it - you could be a "cattle rustler".

If you've ever seen a tractor, you'd know that the drivers seat is a structural component. John Deere couldn't build anything that didn't have it :)
A more satisfying option would be to have an automatic weapon that you can target deer with and take care of them before they take care of you :)
