I said "From INCONVIENIANT to pure hell.", its never been pure joy, and I've been stranded in Oakland once. OAKLAND. I like your kool-aid, make I have a cup?
You know, I'm no fun of poor public decision-making but honestly turning off the data in underground public transportation seriously does not seem like that big of a deal to me.
Its increadibly inconviniant, and the airlines are starting to show how unnessessary it is. My own feeling is that they did that in an attempt to conceal the fact that BART was broken again. Had nothing to do with safety.
Having experience with large Container ships and RORO's is perfect engineering practice for the dealing with the unique, shall we say, attributes, of the average American passenger.
We Americans will remember that as we watch Aussies board the ship, being an Aussie venture and all.
Distributing source was not the objection I heard. It was more along the lines of the license itself... anyway, if you use it are you exploiting it? You kind of sound like ANY use of OSS is exploitation. If so, why release it? Just keep it in a vault if no one can use it.
I've had recent occasion to talk to a few SAAS providers and other software producers who are employing OSS tech in some of their products and the consensus was the GPL was too constrictive, so their using other schemes. I'm also noticing others around the web sticking to GPL 2.0, and dismissing 3.0. I'm just a messenger, just what I've seen.
Or, to simplify; the difference engine is a caclulator, and one has been built. The analytical engine is a turing-complete computer, and one has not been built.
Certainly its logical to minimize your tax liability. But its interesting to me that Apple only paid 9.8 percent. We individuals pat at least twice that, and closer to 30%. The country is by and for corporations, I can't see that there's much one can argue against that. The constitution is dead, a more current one should probably read like a EULA.
I get that I may have to do some tweaking after a complete install, its the curse (blessing) of embracing OSS, to some extent) But I kept wanting to tweak Unity in a thousand little ways, and drawing a complete blank on how to make some things I wanted happen. I blogged about it if you're reading my experiences. Sounds like our two are in the same ballpark.
It means those snazzy digital effects that cost millions of dollars are going to go back to looking like cheesy, simple, video overlays that were the standard for "special effects" back in the 70's.
Like I'm the only person complainging. Mfw shrink. For your rage.

Rarely take bart, only when I have business in Oakland, and every experience has been from inconvinant to pure hell.
Much cheaper and more likely to work are drones armed with conventional ABMs, why is this not a thing?
I catch all my favorite shows, no cable, and no bills. I REGRET NOTHING!!! NOTHING!!!!!

How I am even supposed to begin to recommend Linux for the average user when there are 100 different distros, each with its own quirks and issues?
Pick one, and deal with its "issues".
If you want simple users,
Prefer sofisticated users, but I get your meaning.
Linux is way too fractured right now for the average user.
Disagree. Instructed my sister on how to install it over the phone. She would have called for help with windows as well, so don't go there.
It would probably also help if you could get Linux users to stop fighting amongst themselves over every little goddamn thing.
That's not going to happen, and I'm not sure its an issue if you just use one distro. Even so, how exactly does OSS infighting harm you?
Second, go fuck yourself anyway.
Nice. You kiss your dog with that mouth?

Geese, settle down guy... so much hate...

Curious to know how lacking was the perf., in your opinion?
...and yet the irony was not lost.
"Hey Meepzorp, those creatures orbiting Zfeskew 73875.24543 are trying to communicate with us."
"Man the relativistic bombs."
...no return (or has one I did not know about).

...playing with the settings to "detune" the image so as not to be so damn clear and sharp...
I'm in the other camp. When watching my favorite news caster I crank that stuff to maximum. She has the cutest dimples...
...I just -love- it. It is so silky smooth...
Like buttah, huh?

Why thank you, may I have another?
Adding features is not necessarily a good thing.
I generally agree with what you have to say. May I subscribe to your news letter?
Man. my flying car has to be just around the corner...
And a bunch of coupons to BUY all the newer titles.
