    Interesting, my sig make no mention of liberals being wrong, only that the current administration is culpable in the housing crisis mess. It is what it is, I didn't make Obama or Clinton say what they said. Nor do I state any party affiliation. Seems like you're the one who's not doing any thinking.

    Yes, the 1% are to blame for everything. Clearly Obama's descision to print money to handle the out-of-control Fed budget, Barney Frank's directed mandate to Fannie-Mae & Freddie-Mac to sell houses to people who couldn't afford them, and the continual funding of a massive war machine (note the massive base complex is moving from Subic Bay Phillipines to Australia as I type this) to maintain an out-of-date economic system, and finally out-and-out hostility to job creating mid-level private industry in California, the 5th largest economy in the world, have nothing to do with any of this. Its all about the 1%. The Fed & their state legislature tools, as usual, are pristine and holy.

    Simple as the OP's post was, this goes to a point being it should be obvious that this unholy PETA machine is in some kind of single-minded "Hearts and Minds" warfare. They're willing to exploint any animal, any human, any idea, to drive home this "animals should be untouchable" thing. The movement as a whole is quite obviously mad now. Like a mad, 12 million ton cow...

    A Terms of Service is a contract between private parties, not a statute or a penal code, and they are regularly thrown out of suites for a varity of reasons. Frankly I'm stunned this sailed through, aside from the fact that it was a closed door, back room deal. There's no way this can stand up to scrutiny. One thing's for sure, its obvious the WH is a corporate tool.

    If Hollywood can come up with better special effects, I'm all for it. As fictional villains, the Daleks are great. In all practicality however, the design is crazy flawed. If I were a Time Lord I'd have a hard time being really scared of them.

    You need to go to Fry's Electronics (West Coast, California thing) and you'll see them on the shelf. I bought an Artigo A1100, I wanted to make a sort of low cost linux media out of it. Love the form factor. Unfortuneatly Via refuses to make working linux video drivers for it, so I Ioaded it with Windows XP. You can use the chrome9 OSS offering, but you'll miss out on some essential hardware acceleration and some 3D stuff.

    Yeah, having hires solve a direct problem seems good to me. During the interview process (if I am involved) I try to get one simple question in like "name an algorithm, any one." If they stammer and haw, which is surprisingly often, that's a mark against. If they can at least name Nagle's, or binary tree, or something that makes sense, they're in as far as I'm concerened. But giving them a damn term paper, that's just a waste of time.
