I don't know what to say, but to me this all sounds a little stupid.

This is pure brainwashing, and we don't even know about this. They might as well make them repeat "buy Microsoft products, buy Microsoft products, buy Microsoft products" over and over again.

    Nice try society!

This applies to the post below as well.

I know that this goes against my original post, but I have to say that I agree with both of you.

I get what you mean. PowerPoint, aside from being a Microsoft product (its not "cool" to use those, remember) does add clutter and gives the user endless possibilities to add even more.

I do agree that PowerPoint makes you dumb.

The only way to report data is through bare, sheer, raw data!

No fancy graphics, no 3d pies, and definitely NO graphs.

Using regular, sorted information presented in a table is the best method - as a Wire article states.

It would have ben fun to run phpsysinfo on it just so people knew its a sparc ;)

someday i will become rich and do all this and more.

I heard that Microsoft is planning to buy some pharmaceuticals company to relive users of neck and back strains. :)

I also used one for about 2 months straight for a school project. I was doing a lot of mobile work, so this thing proved itself very useful for someone who moves around a lot. I did, in fact, noticed that when my head is not at a lowered position, I get slightly mild aches in the lower part of my neck. Also, it is not very comfortable to write anything on a Tablet PC. I used to think that these were going to be very productive and easy to use, but it terns out the only asset that I treasure is the mobility of the tablet -- nothing else, nothing more.
