So, soes Homestar get to release a duck to go after Strongbad?
Somebody get this freakin' duck away from me!.
For those that don't know, one of the menus is gaming themed, and selecting one of the options displays Strongbad with a trophy running from a dragon from Adventure. Good stuff.
Are those banned? If not, and you're lucky enough to have wireless access via your PDA, redirect all of your text alerts to an email address accessable via your PDA.
This assumes you're in an environment with wireless, and you have a wireless-enabled PDA. Or, like another poster mentioned, see if they'll allow an alpha pager and go from there.
Seriously though, selling the subscription doesn't sounds like such a bad idea, if the subscription isn't tied somehow to your hardware.
Nope, it's not tied to the hardware. Your account information is stored on the hard disk, and can be copied to a memory card and transferred. The only problem with selling the subscription would be that all of the information (name, address, phone number) couldn't be changed unless you gave the purchaser the last 4 digits of the credit card used during the Live setup. Nice idea, though.
You also can't even use your keyboard until the USB driver has loaded - same goes for the mouse.
The mouse I'll agree with, but with most modern motherboards, your USB keyboard works as soon as bootup begins. If that weren't true, I would not be able to get into my BIOS and change anything.
The chat feature on the dashboard was rolled out in November, if I remember correctly. And, it works pretty nice, and saves on the long distance bills at the same time.
Uhm, yes, it does have an option to mute. If you go into the player's menu, highlight the offender's name, hit A (I believe) and select mute player, it works just fine. I've muted plenty of people.
Hate to burst your bubble, but there won't be pics of the Beagle 2 crash site, as it's on the other side of Mars. According to USA today (dead tree addition, dated yesterday), it would take the rover 1,000 years to get to the intended landing position of Beagle 2, assuming it crashed even remotely near it's target.
I loved my c64. I had one of the old style until it blew, then I went through 2 of the newer styles... the last one I had is still around somewhere.. Good stuff.
I think UserLinux has some potential. I'm very interested in seeing where it's going to end up. Using Debian as a base seems pretty good from a package standpoint, but I can see some heated debates revolving around which desktop environment will be deemed "standard". Personally, I use a mixture of both Gnome and KDE apps, but I run Gnome as the DE. I'll be keeping an eye on things, and I think if done right, UserLinux will overtake Fedora in the future.

Wow, I guess I should tell my wife she has too much time on her hands, and quite possibly might be a computer programmer.

Yeah, the documentation lacks... that seems to be typical. Hope it works for you.
