yeah, he has used reverse psychology on all of us to get us to go check out and play his mech board game now that we are all ready to get some practice in before the mech from alaska takes over.
not millionares, but rather just landowners in the area (farmers, ranchers,...) for really low prices. the high cost is in cleaning the chemicals and whatever other crap is in there before you can "move-in." There is even a real-estate agency that specializes in stuff like this (no time to search for it right now). I've seen smaller silos go for about $250,000 plus the cost to cleanup.
no kidding, I just seem to head back to CS whenever I have finals/midterms to study for... the part that annoys the hell out of me most now is the whole voice chatting where you can hear just how young the little brats are. it makes me miss the old pre-1.0 CS where the players had big heads, the bunny-hop was key, and we would yell down the hall of my dorm where the camper was hiding....
hell if I didn't use my wireless M$ mouse I would lose my only "believable" excuse why I just got fragged in CS.... the whole "damn laggg" thing is so old that noone cares, but the whole "wireless is crap reason" for suckiness is good for at least another year or so...
well it began as a research project into a space-based missile shield, but once we realized it was impossible (can't shield satellites from a nuke exploding in orbit, aiming the lasers/depleted uranium projectiles accurately and fast enough to do any good...), it turned into a fake program that was PR for the American public and made the USSR flow money that they could not afford into trying to match the "superiority" of America's SDI that only existed in some cool little animated video clips and press releases...
well this would destroy the car sale business in new mexico as the very idea of this is too big of a hassle for most people to even think about. and so if you live in new mexico just head on over to neighboring arizona or texas (I might set up a car lot on the border just to make it convenient for you)... would asthmatics get an exemption? or how about old people on oxygen tanks? if it says in the article I am sorry but this is/.
not quite, spread spectrum was first attempted in WWII as a secure way to control torpedos. it does not prevent jamming, but rather who can listen in/decode it. these cell phone jammers can prevent calls by flooding the radio frequency and making it impossible for a true signal to find the cell phone. spread spectrum basically blows the signal into tiny pieces which are then reassembled by the intended cell phone, it doesn't somehow magically avoid interference....
Sure this thing looks fairly nice and linux on a PDA would be nice. But after playing with a Sony UX50 for a little over $600 with integrated 802.11b and a little webcam, I just could never picture myself or any other mainstream business-type buying this thing. my Visor Edge is up for replacement with a non-MS PDA, and so Sony is going to get my $$ thing time around.
I was thinking of posting this myself but I haven't gotten around to stop playing the thing to do so. the emphasis seems to be more on teamwork than solo rambo stuff as before. it runs about as good as UT2003, which isn't saying much as my GF3 is really showing its age. I will definitely be buying this when I see it at Bestbuy, unless of course Doom3 or Halflife 2 suddenly decide to appear on the shelf.... go download it
Of course everyone recommends what they have because to them it was the coolest/best one they found.
I bought a JVC GR-DVM96U for about $600 and its been far above anything I expected. The thing is small enough to fit in my pocket yet it has every toy I wanted in a miniDV camcorder: stereo recording, nice LCD, 1 megapixel still camera with SD card, 10X optical zoom, firewire for DV transfer, USB for SD transfer, MPEG recording.
and even some features I didn't want: MP3 sound effects, "night" vision...
just my opinion
the design looks like an iPod with carbon coating and cheap plastic chrome buttons. a color screen is nice, even though its use is probably limited to an occasional "ooh its color", even though you don't normally stare at the screen as you jog/drive/walk/sit in your cubicle...
why don't they put a sticker on it that says "Ipod killer" (in korean of course to prevent patent infringement)?
I don't know what all it supports, but the app "XPostFacto" is supposed to get old Mac's to run OS X. I saw OS X on an old "Umax" clone, so it must support some really old shit.
you are missing the rest of the details of going from the new 15gig to the 20gig:
the 20 gig comes with a wired remote AND the docking cradle.
so at $39 for the dock, and the portion of the $39 for the remote (set also comes with new headphones), you are getting those extra 5gigs for about $30; 30/5=so it is only $6 per additional gig....
about the Apple education specials for basically anyone that goes to any school.
that makes the "slightly too expensive" iPod mini come down to $229, the new 15gig iPod down to $269, and the already-cheap new iLife down to $29....
the USB keyboard stays at $99 though, but I doubt anyone will complain about that. I think I will take one of each;)
they made something like this for volkswagen when they were running that deal just this last year where you buy a new beatle and you get a free ipod. the car has a built in dock just like you are asking for. so you got $22k to spare and need a new round car?
am almost giddy about the prospect of being able to buy a cheap iPod as I have been putting off buying a full-blown one since they firtst came out. I already marked my calendar for Job's keynote speech next week so that I can finally know if this rumor is actually correct. to me the price just seems too low, so perhaps the rumor sources got it wrong in that it might cost $100 LESS than the current ipods? that would put it at $200 and be in the same price range as that latest Rio that has 1.5gig of storage. Other thought, but less likely is that it might only play AAC files downloaded AND bought from the iTunes store. But I am sure that we will all work day and night to crack that restriction... "deAAC" Or maybe it is more of an empty shell type of player that you can upgrade the onboard flash memory with a microdrive for storage up to 1-2 gigs... Well that is enough speculation until next week

he got $10 million in severance pay.... if only I had such a rotten deal

forget suing a kid. they will go straight for the old granny who not only has never heard of linux but does not even own a "computer"

how would I have moderated you a troll and post to the same story? I must have magic /. powers.
