"The far left are on an agenda to wipe out any mention of God at all in our society"

Why should there be any mention of God in society, other than in churches and other specifically religious forums?

Why should my children be exposed to mediaeval superstitions, if I don't want them to? It's not like the real things in the world, like business, education, health, etc, can't get along fine without poisonous religious fairy-tales being paraded around like "the truth".

In fact, considering how much damage is done by religion, I'd say it would be a massive improvement if it disappeared completely.

By the way, copyright violation is not theft. Theft is where you take something away from someone. And if filesharing has created sales, its a bit hard to say that it has deprived the record industry of anything, isn't it?

I would liken it to radio - I've always been able to hear music for free on the radio, and I can even tape it if I want. But, if I particularly like something, I'm always going to prefer to own the CD.

Saying that every song downloaded is a lost sale is obviously false, because anything I download, but don't subsequently purchase, I most likely wouldn't have bought anyway. But at least I now am able to confidently spend money on things I do like.

Now would seem to be a good time to put forward a suggestion:
The word "microsoft" is becoming more and more suitable to replace such old favourites in the language such as "f*ck", and "Sh*t".

I prefer to spit the word out in an angry, machine-gun fashion.

(hits thumb with hammmer) "owww - microsoft" (feels better already).

    Or:
"That used-car salesman must have seen you coming, you really got microsofted there buddy"

What? Did that sentence actually make any sense?

One good reason to think that companies such as Symantec are genuine in their efforts against viruses is the fact that the fix for any given worm can usually be found - for free - on their site, along with info, links to patches, etc. NO purchase necessary.

Sure, they are making money from all this, but that seems to be continuing without them having to be do anything sneaky.

And can you imagine what it would do to them it they did start manufacturing viruses, and were found out?
