This is a great thing for personal security. If you get mugged or robbed, rape or such you have a picture of your attacker. I can see this being marketed this way

  2. The Technology isn't Going to be there. on Europe Joins Race To Send Humans To Mars · · Score: 1

I don't think the technology to send a man to mars will be there in the next 3 decades. They still need to come up with a way to launch from earth without having a launch tower. They have been trying to escape earths gravity with plane like vehicles but have never done it and they have been trying this for the past 10 or more years. Untill they can fly out off our planet and land on mars like a regular airplane then it wont' happen.

  3. Re:Betatests on When Is A MMORPG Beta Not A Beta? · · Score: 1

Must of bought The Sims Online. That game when it came out was only on public beta for 3 months before it was released. Us beta testers Told Maxis that it was in no way shape to be released and they should beta it longer. Well as soon as it came out lot of us beta testers exited stage left. I stayed in it for 1 year and let me say It is Still not ready. Content is missing that they said they were going to put in it since Beta and it is still buggy.

No its more like that Longhorn is a long way from being released. Usually when they drop support for one item its because the OS that will replace it will be released. Look what happened with NT. W2k came out and then they dropped NT. You may be right about older computers, but remember most out there are now at least Pentium III and will run W2K or Xp

One of the things he fails to mention is that in the TOS you can't use third party programs in the game to help you make simoleans. On his website he had links to these programs. READ THE TOS YOU ASS YOU WOULDN"T HAVE GOTTEN YOU BANNED.

  6. The Real Reason on Banned Sims Online Chronicler Bites Back · · Score: 3, Insightful

Come on... If he read the Terms of Service for the game and followed the rules Then he would not have gotten himself banned. When you install the game and also when you register your game code your a accepting and following the TOS. If you break them, well certain punishments happen. His just so happens to be banned.

The game is a great! alot better then The Sims Online and alot more to do.

And to top it all off, the founding players (beta testers) are quiting and refusing to buy any more maxis stuff. Its sad to see this happening.
