You're fucking kidding, right?! America is opposed to Islam for a very good God damned reason. We value freedom. Islamists see freedom as an act of Hurbis, punishable by death. The only law is Gods law. Or Sharia law. There is no "meeting in the middle on this". Pick up a Quran and read. Either you accept or you don't. These guys make Christian fundamentalists tame by comparison.

For get about America. In fact, forget about the whole Western world for that matter. The Muslim community needs to make peace with other Muslims first and foremost. And you know damn well as the rest of us that that will never happen in our lifetime. I will not sacrifice my American ideals just to placate a bunch of intolerant people that value very little of human life.

For public transportation to work, it has to be built around a suite of options. There is no silver bullet. Take Shanghai for example, As densely populated as that city is, I can get from the north west of the city all the way to Pudong (PVG) airport in about an hour or less. I would walk to the side of a road and flag down a taxi whom would take me a short distance to the nearest subway. I would take the subway all the way to the end where a maglev is available in short walking distance. The maglev then goes directly to the airport.

The problem with public transportation is that you can't lug shit around. And more often than not, it makes shopping or moving a very unpleasant experience.

As for me? I'm currently living in Houston, TX. Arguably we have the worlds best highway system. I can get anywhere at anytime in my car. I love it. It's too early for this city to have a subway system of its own. But if Houston decides on getting more densely populated with additional skyscrapers built(office space), it could use one along with the current Metro bus system in place.

Despite the fact communist progressives are toxic to maintaining a harmonious and prosperous culture, the American people voted for these ideal multiple times. All future applications and data will be stored in the "cloud". See Office 365 and SkyDrive for example. The idea of CPU architecture should only be important to the software developers, not the end user. Again, the idea being your data in the "cloud" is architecturally agnostic. Never mind the fact that the Windows 8 UI is an anathema to end user multitasking. They still haven't figure that out after the preview of Windows 9. In fact, they actively do not want too.
