I'm surprised Adobe hasn't written an EULA with regards to their Adobe Acrobat software. Or have they? That is to say, once you create a PDF of your works, they own the copyright to that content in that format.
Which is fine actually so long as those tax dollars were paid off with profits earned (and then some). But the idea that just because AT&T got bootstrapped through US tax payer funding, they should be forever beholden to the tax payer is just ludicrous! And you wonder why conservatives such as myself don't like the idea of government intervention. A truly sticky situation that if ever, rarely goes away.
So what's the difference between information strictly in your head vs undocumented material subpoenaed to be materialized before the court? It's de-facto incrimination to force the materialization of evidence via a subpoena. Is it not?
It's a lovely vision. I don't wish to crap all over it, but we're still struggling with how to deal with bone loss and atrophy. And that's with the most athletic candidates that take on such orbital missions. How can we ever have an average-Joe take on employment in such a space mining industry? The caliber of men and women necessary to do these missions would be exceedingly costly. I'm afraid until such problems are solved, cheap 3rd world labor strip mining in afghanistan would be cheaper and less risky if you can believe that.
China will go to the moon and waste a shitload of money and resources in the process. They may think they have the right ideas and justifications for going there. But like everything else the government is responsible for, they lose focus and succumb to shoddy workmanship and political corruption. Just like they did with all of those ghost cities and dams.
China has the will and resources. Sadly, they just lack effective leadership to make their efforts worthwhile. Regardless, good luck to them. I wish them success.
If apple includes the hardware into the next version of iPhone, it would be trivial to create the software necessary to interoperate the scanning results. For that matter, throw in this technology for Droids phones too.
Imagine the near endless possibilities. Software that will pick up increased pheromone for that nifty little dating app. Or how about one that allows parents to sniff out pot stashes or monitor other illegal forms of drug abuse. Maybe you're a gold prospector in Alaska. Yup, there's an app for that too.
My limited understanding is that Nixon in 1971 canceled the international gold to dollar standard. This was a result of the French trading US dollars for gold and thus causing a problem for our currency internationally. It was one of his many changes in a period known as the Nixon Shock.
They will exchange or gift it to some other nation in exchange for diplomatic relations. Namely China or Russia. Aside from the whole stealth paint technology, it provides little extra value.
Does freedom of speech superceed threats and acts of violence? He's an Islamic terrorist and sympathizer. I'm pissed that we didn't double-tap his sorry ass just to make damn sure he was in fact dead.
Alan Greenspan said pretty much the same thing. Inflation is basically a side-band method of taxation as it confiscates personal wealth. While I don't think going back to the gold standard is a good idea (there was a reason for going off it for international commerce), something needs to peg our fiat currency back down to reality.
Atheism affirmatively believe that there is no God/s. It's a form of non-theistic faith. The faith that all other belief systems are bunk.
Agnostics neither believe or disbelieve. In its purist form, an agnostic person is oblivious to such concepts. They're also the easiest to covert because they don't have any preexisting learned dogma to counter. This is why preaching religions such as Christianity and Islam spread so fast around the world. Not nessarily through violence, but more through indoctrination than anything else.
BTW. Christianity has had a foothold in China for a long time going way back before the cultural revolution. It's still the fastest growing religion to this day there regardless of the persecutions they face by their own government.
The Earth's magnetic field rotates some however slow it might be. In theory, energy could be captured through induction. It would be a waste of time and money to do so, but I think it could be done just to prove a point.
We know that most in academia vote for one particular party in the US. The same party responsible for courting teacher unions as well. It's quite possible that this party could write laws that mandate small businesses and corporations to provide preferential highering of college graduates over someone with similar or greater work experience. This would close the loop of power and leave this party in power in perpetituity. That's because now that voters are earning more money, they want to ensure their financial position in life and that of their children. After all, it takes money to send someone to college. The poor working class will beforced to depend on government support to the point of being in endentured servitude. So of course, they will be forced to vote for same said party as well.
But getting past the HR filters are in fact the most important part of getting a job in the first place. Fuck experience. That's just for nogotiating a salary in the last minute. Some companies these days think you can learn on the job depending on the industry. Some even prefer you do it their way only. Taking on massive debt is required just to get a living wage. For most, it's purely survival.
I got a well paying job now but plan on going back to college. I'm looking to upgrade my HR access badge. That's it. Pay now or pay later.
In some countries like Kenya, you need something of a masters just to clean toilets. It's that competitive. Getting a degree these days is a required scam for most.
It is a good question. Does this mean a life long commitment of attention to nothing but god and remain celibate forever? Or was the context pertaining to a period of one's life dedicated to God prior to the commitment of marriage? I couldn't tell you.
With regards to your question of piety in general. Well, there's old saying. You can bring a horse to water, but you can't force him to drink it. Or, you can show someone the door, but he must decide to walk through it. While we are each responsible for our own actions, as Christians, we can at least be advocates for what is right and wrong.
A group of people controlling lots of money with political influence are generally pretty sane to begin with to be able to pull off a manhattan level project. That, and keep tabs on these weapons. But event that's not guaranteed with the likes of N. Korea and Iran.
No. The biggest fear is someone cooking up a synthetic virus with one of these sequencers. It's just another form of programming. But instead of controlling computer hardware, your playing with meat. Far more deadly.
Having children from a marriage is a goal. Not a requirement. As far as infertile couples are concerned, miracles are know for happening. There's been at least one documented case of virginal conception. His name was Jesus Christ.
Marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Ultimately it's about raising children in a family. Be fruitful and multiply and all that. And while, yes, modern biology and technology is set to turn all this upside down, such endeavors are unnatural as is invetro fertilization between a heterosexual couple. If it's ment to be, it's ment to be. If not, well...
I personally know gay men who are great Christians. They're certainly more "Christian" than your average divorced couple. While I have no problem with gays loving and living their life together, it's not a union as God intended from the standpoint of marriage. It's not that they're inferior in the eyes of God. It's just that they don't qualify to be recognized as a married couple. Neither good nor bad.
Technically you are correct with how the license are granted. I also don't have any problem with people being married married, be under the eyes of God or the justice of the peace. Though I do have a personal belief of which people should choose. But again, I'm a religious man with faith and values.
That all said however, the institution of merriage is recognized at not just the Federal level, but diplomatic one too. I should know because I gained some insight into all this as my wife and I were filing for a K1 visa. She's Chinese and I'm and American. Both nations do *not* recognize a same sex union. I'm pretty sure that polygamy is also forbidden too.
As a Christian, I'm against gay marriage from a religious point of view. However as an American, I believe in the freedom of religion and association. You may even choose to not associate with anything. The problem is that marriage is a religious institution sponsored by our federal government. It's a problem because there are all sorts of legal ties to something religious in nature. The implications are huge. It means that the Federal Goverment can dictate the meaning of religious values and not the other way around. I strongly believe the best option is to abstract this union one level apart. That is to say, everyone can have a civil union which grants all the legal benefits without bias. You can still choose to have a religious merriage ceremony after the fact if you wish. Some may want just to be married withough being legally recognized too. Either way should be fair for everyone.
If the destruction of family values and the cohesiveness of society is "American", than I don't want any part of this rebellion you so uphold as a virtue.
It's only a bubble if they're not making record profits. I was on the fence about investing in Apple after Steve died, but no longer.
I'm surprised Adobe hasn't written an EULA with regards to their Adobe Acrobat software. Or have they? That is to say, once you create a PDF of your works, they own the copyright to that content in that format.
You mean monopolies created and funded by our tax dollars? It's the huge conflict of interest I have a problem with.
Which is fine actually so long as those tax dollars were paid off with profits earned (and then some). Do you really want to be separated from your body? The spiritual cloud may render you a life of Heaven or Hell.
