    When conducting remote support, the cell phone is an invaluable tool. For one, you can talk to someone directly as you walk them through the wiring closet / rack if needed. Most importantly, is the ability for them to take photos and send them via SMS. Video capture can be important if you suspect activity lights are wonky (failing switch, rare but happens). But most important, you are providing them to tools to help you dive remotely and be self-sufficient. Remember the phrase "help me, help you".

  11. Russia just shot their wad on cold dirt. Let's just say Putin takes Ukraine; fine, now what? The whole post Cold War was proven to be bullshit. Not just perceived BS, but the genuine best-of-the-best BS the world has ever known in international politics. Which means a few things.

    1. All other nations will never give up their nuclear weapons; not at the request of the US or NATO. Never going to happen again after this.
    2. Russia as a culture can't never be trusted. They will be isolated to the ends of the Earth. They got the prize, now they can wallow in the tundra cold and alone.

    China, India, Brazil?! Such a motley crew the BRIC nations are. Honor among thieves anyone? Yeah, they can have at it without the West.

    You're only telling it as it is halfway. Yes, America is protecting its own interests first and foremost; as would any nation. But yes, "protecting the worlds freedom" via democracy and self-determination is a core view of Western Civilization; spearheaded by America, a super power.

    Never mind that there are multiple denominations out there. Not going into it, just acknowledging that fact. Some believe each individual is predestined, I for one do not. As for "sin", well God loves his creation so much that he gave man the free will. There were rules, but that damn apple (forbidden fruit and all that) damned us all. Until his son (Jesus) saved us.

    I believe in the trinity. And yes, it's God. Who knows what the motives were. Perhaps it's his way of of introspection by taking on three forms?! Who knows.

    As for Yahweh, you do know the origins of the his name, right? When Moses asked God what his name was, he responded "I am". Yahweh is "I am" translated in third person. Yahweh (God) is the Alpha and Omega.

    So it's an ineffective plan. Good. And yes, you're probably right about using this as justification for, yet, more government bloat. That said however, the fact this one captured laptop revealed the dark intentions of just "one" radical speaks volume of how truely fucked humanity is. This ideology is hell bent on destroying modern civilization and leaving a culture of hell-on-Earth in its place.

    So what do you suggest we do about it? Leaving them alone might make them choose us last if we're lucky. But no doubt, they want you, me, and every non-Muslim converted or dead.

    I doubt dug-outs as that would be a huge safety issue. Both for the drivers that might drive a tire over one (on accident), and the people inside when there's a fire. And there will be a fire; sooner or later, it will happen!
