About your statement of copyrights, I also hope that it will not survice the information age. I still don't know why, but can shake of that feeling that there is something wrong with copyrights. One day ...

For my online banking, currently only M$ and of course IE. To make it even worse the damn app uses M$ JVM and only that JVM. Happy to have VMWare, so no need to reboot to use it. After the install of that service pack, well you could guess it, no more online banking. Even removing it didn't solve the problem. Lucky I have a backup vmware file so my problem was quite quick solved. So I decided that I won't waste my time anymore on M$. That actully happen quite a while ago, after the experience with the dll-hell. Linux user #358897

Sounds like ADD/ADHD to me, you're almost telling the story of my youth. And ADHD was diagnosed 3 years ago. But that didn't stop me from educating myself, which I have done always, merely 'cause school was so boring. And it was hard to stay focus on matter I mostly already had teached myself. A disease, in my eyes no not all, rather a small bug, but one that can make live really hard. But this hard live also has a flip side, the experience you get from al those facts/problems (mostly problems) you have encountered, is huge. And likely way more then what 'normal' people will do in their entire life. And for me, computers and programming was heaven, something that evolved very fast, so it would stay interesting. But after 20y of programming, it's getting harder to keep focused on that matter as well. I happend to have an appointement with my shrink and sure I'm going to ask him about that neural thing. Because I've always wanted another way of communicating with a pc. And why not in a neural way. Probebly not in my active career. The future will tell, soon I hope

Indeed playing electronica instrumentals, or techno, helps me to stay focus on the matter I'm working on, and indeed it doesn't need much to find the matter less interesting.

About 2 years ago, a doctor diagnosed ADD(ADHD). So untill that day I didn't had the knowledge of ADD, and somehow I managed to become a programmer/analist. I have to mention that to reach that goal, I really had to work hard, very hard. The final result is that due to ADD I'll never become a good programmer. Which I find a sad thing, I did had other plans for the future. When I started to think my past, I came to the conclusion that everything what happen in the past was somehow influenced by the disabilities of ADD. All my failures in those 28 years, most of them due to lack of concentration, they all made sense. Anyway after a major nerve breakdown, the search for the 'right' medication has started and is still going on. At first rilatine, I must admit that things did go a bit better. But after a while I started to notice that my personality was changing and that is something I really don't want to happen. So no more rilatine for me, was my conclusion. I live in Europe and my doctor came with the proposal to start with cannabis as a medicine, so I did start with it, and very soon, most of my friends noticed that I was calm, and could stay on chair, and so on. So as long as it is sufficient, I'll stay with the green medicine. It helps for me. City parade is in town so get colored hair.
