  1. There would be a market for this on The Sports Footage You Won't See Today On TV · · Score: 1

and I have for a long time thought about it - there is no reason at all why the NFL can't release the video (for a price of course) the day after the game. There is nothing "proprietary" about it once the game is over as every team has access to this footage, only the fans do not. As the original poster notes, a lot can be missed when just using the zoomed in sideline cameras and rarely does a broadcast use one of the high up cams.

You would think the NFL (and NHL as well) would wake up and try to take advantage of this. The cost to do so is minimal.

I think Grant AZ is the nearest "big" place and its a bit of a hike. We actually pulled off road and crashed a while in our lawn chairs - it was late night and you probably won't find many darker places to check out the stars. There are also a number of lava flows and what not on the way to AZ.

And if you are going to be in NM, there is also White Sands and I think the solar observatory is still open but slated to be moved elsewhere. Check on that.

I guess you missed the late 60's and early 70s? I thought we established then that FBI or [insert federal agency here] involvement in political speech was a no-no? That there are protests, rallies or whatever you want to call them in the 50 states is none of the business of Washington DC and the Federal government. Thats not to say their aren't some unique applications that have a better *nix version or that iSteve hasn't put one out for his cult, but when you look at the whole shebang, neither osx nor linux/bsd can compete. On October 31, 2011 US debt will equal 100% of GDP. While he does address some elements of the tax system (which is totally fubar to begin with) the fact remains that this country is in hock and those debts must be paid or defaulted on. So yes, there is a chance (in this case remote) that you might have to personally pay for a service which may have previously been provided by the government.
