    The republican tax bill raises taxes on the wealthy, especially those making over 1M. It also raises taxes on corporations by closing more loopholes than can be made up for by the reduction in rate.

    If this is even remotely true, then it has no chance of passing then.

    In context though, slaves were not kept nor the war created for the sake of slavery.

    Perhaps you should mention this to the confederacy. They seem pretty sure the right to keep slaves was worth seceding and fighting a war over.

    Irrelevant. GP's assertion was comparing the poorest yanks to the richest Venezuelans, and there's literally no contest there.

    99% of people living under a bridge are there because they refuse to avail themselves of available services

    It could apply to most countries in South America, Africa, Asia, and even eastern Europe.

    I'm fairly certain a USian living under a bridge in a cardboard box would much prefer to be a billionaire from one of the many countries available in the areas you listed.

    That's still assuming facts not in evidence. Fact is, if he'd been paying attention, and was actually as great dealmaker as y'all think he is, both Ocare repeal and the tax cuts would be done deals by now instead of the sloppy messes they currently are. Not to mention the fact that it looks like he's trying to trade dreamers for the wall, and still hasn't got his part of the bargain sealed up yet.

    BTW, when liberals "howl" at his tweets, you might notice most of those are howls of laughter and not pain. But that doesn't help you sell your fiction to yourself, does it?

    But you know what the worst part is? And you won't be able to admit it until he's long gone, but you got exactly what you wanted when Trump was elected. And it's going to not only end up doing you not one bit of good, it's going to hurt you and your cause badly.
