Because she was getting into trouble, her access was extremely limited and she did NOT have a computer in her room. She never did figure out that the program wasn't on her computer. Huzzah for transparent proxies!

And they have a lot of fucking nerve charging damn near $20 for a CD that has made them a fortune a thousand times over. I was unable to locate any kind of TOU page. Pay attention Verizon. I'm willing to pay for a damn fast connection, but it's going to be on MY terms. You will NOT tell me how I can use my connection (although I have no problem with you forbidding spam).
I agree. I just set up a new laptop for my mom. I wanted to install Ubuntu on it, but decided against it because of one program that is extremely important to her, Family Tree Maker. For myself, I run a dual boot system so I can run games. No, Wine isn't the answer. As good as it is, it's still just a hack and fails all too often with games.
