Yeah, but we have no long term studies on what genetically engineered crops are actually doing in our bodies. All the consumer rejection of gmo foods isn't all about xenophobia. Some of them appear to be dangerous, and it's reckless and irresponsible of Monsanto and company to pour these things into the market before we have a good understanding of this. I think at the very least gmo food needs to be labeled so consumers know what they're buying. But China's move to ban genetically engineered rice is not an unwise one.

There really is nothing better than cheesy sci fi movies about nonsense. I'm glad this delicate art form survives in America. If it didn't we would be stuck with depressing European dystopias and Middle Eastern zombie movies. No thanks.

The overwhelming majority of the products that succeed in challenging the FDA on this policy never have issues.
The fda needs to stop trying to take things off the market when there has been no harm to the consumer. If there's a case that the product has hurt consumers, it's one thing. But there's no such thing in this case, or the last three that they've done this with.
