There is no legal grey area, you have been sucked in by a lie. A countries law only ceases to fully apply within a country at foreign diplomatic sites, no where else does it occur. It is a policy lie, a purposeful abuse of the law, enforced by criminal application of the law, using high cost and the courts to prevent the end of the abuse of law. Show where in the constitution laws and citizens rights are abridged at particular locations, outside of having been prosecuted for a crime.
The mistake as a citizen was answering questions in the first place. Do it once and they will demand it every time, refuse to talk and eventually they give up, does not stop them from trying again but again they eventually give up. For me all dead music is shite compared to a drunken sing along with a happy crowd, that's real music. Being a nothing passive consumer of main stream media marketing about what you have to listen to, what makes you lame if you do not listen and how laughably you protest the oldies by conforming to marketing and buying the currently most marketed music.
You do realise by far the majority of marketing shite associated with performance industry, is just that, marketing shite targeted at minors because they are readily manipulatable and then they are either stuck with it as they grow older or realise they have been scammed by professional con artists. You really want the best music, then create it with others don't passively listen to it thinking you are achieving something because modern hugely manipulative marketing has convinced you that you must or you are a uncool loser.
Would the world be a lessor place if non of that now not good enough for streaming music never existing, no, not in the least. Would the world be a lessor place if lessor no quality drunken sing alongs never existed, of course it would, those a real moments of shared creativity and happiness.
So your problem in reality is not with public transport or private transport, it is with disposable labour and not having a job for life and thus not being able to move close enough to it to be able to readily, walk, ride a bike or take free public transport to it.
I would have to agree, that whole disposable labour thing really pisses me off and I would love to be able to readily walk to work, this in preference even to free public transport. You can actually see where the real problem is and the symptoms of that problem and the bandage being used to cover it up and the additional problems that bandage, private transport, causes.
I find your comment insulting and degrading. Just because I read slashdot does not make me some pathetic victim of marketing that can get readily abused and sucked into scams. In fact in my time on slashdot I find the exact opposite to be generally true, that slashdot readers tend to be less manipulable via marketing techniques and routinely challenge and discuss many stories put up.
So the question I assume you want to ask, beyond insulting slash dot readers as be gullible idiots, is "How appropriate do you think the, patreon campaign is and if you really are striving in the public interest, shouldn't you, just like so many others do it without the desire for personal fiscal reward and notoriety". Just because so many ex-politicians get involved in the public speaking for profits campaign, does not mean everyone else should. In fact I am deeply suspicious about those politicians speaking fees and who is donating the money to pay for it. How carefully are the donations to those charity organisations being investigated because I am really suspicious that politicians are withdrawing bribe money out of tax haven bank accounts and sic donating that money to charities to pay themselves ex-politician to speak (laundering the money via a charity).
Come on, we finally now see the reality. The ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS, that's what it is all about, as far as they are concerned they stole it fair and square and want to keep it. So who exactly has that one hundred billion dollars, who has been profiting via access to that one hundred billion dollars, how much of that one hundred billion dollars has been chewed up with administrative charges, who are the individuals who profit keeping the one hundred billion dollars that was stolen from Iran.
Forget nuclear weapons, this is all about that now likely missing money and having to return it, either admitting to the lost portion or making up the difference. So not so much about what Iran will do with it's money but what they hell have those crooks who stole it doing been doing with it and surprise, surprise, surprise, they do not want to return it, ever.
