Yeah and the new non-vegan ones, though I generally eat vegan are absolutely delicious and quite a good meat-replacement if you ask me. Better not to support those joints anyhow, the cost to humans and animals is tremendous. Read Fast Food Nation and you'll see.
I overclocked my TI-82 (one of those old rectangular grey models) and then really impressed my friends when it graphed functions faster than their new TI-89 titaniums.
SkyTran is the answer. This is a developed taxi maglev system that is completely computer-operated and uses very little energy because of maglev. Given the article's possibilities I think both fuel cell cars will eventually dominate the car market and systems like skytran will be used in metropilitan areas.
Better cars are not the answer, computer-controlled transportation is the answer: no accidents, ability to go faster, more efficient.
I have a question, though, regarding putting in a SIM card. If I have to change my number when I use a prepaid SIM card, then I have to request my home cell number be forwarded to this one, correct? Otherwise, it's only good for making outside calls. So to request my home carrier to forward my cell number to an international number I'd guess that'd cost a lot. So this way I incur charges too.
I also triede the Expose feature in Linux. It was expose built in to the app-changing command in a certain window manager, expocity actually. Anyways, that sucked too, I was very disappointed. It was a very stupid animation technique: all the windows would be cleared then each one would suck out of the bottom left corner. It was slow and ugly.
What's interesting though about Expose is the algorithm used, there's certainly a random factor in the algorithm because the windows never go in the same spot. Also, the windows don't aim on taking up all the space, that is, when you use expose, there are big holes of spaces there are purposely not used, but the gaps between each windows are not all the same so there is definitely something random about the algorithm.
Hold on. I thought Apple does not believe in security through obscurity, that's the whole point of having an open source kernel. Windows does not release any of there code while Apple's Darwin is completely open source. Of course the GUI and applications can't be open source because they'd have a hard time selling it then. What else of Apple's do you expect to be open source? All the security, correct me if I'm wrong, is based in the kernel if not in the open source utilities the kernel employs like the firewall (ipchains?) etc. Or maybe you just wrote it backwards.
I second your description of ritalin use. Personally I take Aderall XR but that and ritalin both make me feel depressed. Without the pills, I'm extremely hyper and make jokes left and right. On the pills, if I think of a good joke, rarely by then, I think it would be stupid. It just goes to show how without the medication, my brain jumps from one thing to another connecting dots - which is the essence of a joke, usually a funny relationship, for example. One last thing, I also feel out of touch on the pills, my hands always feel weird. But all in all, unless I'm doing seriously boring work, I try to stay away from taking medication. One thing, I'm a high school student, so maybe my opinion doesn't relate to adults?
