    The term of "prior art" needs to be clarified a bit as well : there is prior art if the invention has been made public in any way before filing the patent application.

    Hence if inventor Z created the invention first but kept it secret there is no prior art. To the opposite, if inventor A or B made a demo at a salon, talked about it to an industrial, etc, there is prior art and they cannot file an application afterwards.

    Errr .. I think you made a slight mistake in your calculation :

    With more accurate constants and dimensions of l=5cm and diameter=10cm :
    2.65.10-8 * .05 / (pi * .05) = 1.7x10^-7 Ohms

    Which gives a power of about 6x10^7 Watts

    Images considered individually are copies, however the site as a whole is quite different, I think this is what should matter.

    You shouldn't need to 'emerge -u world' ever; only update the packages for which you actualy need a newer version/feature, or if a security fix has been issued.

    Otherwise you won't feel any difference, and essentialy heat the room for nothing. Besides emerge -u world actually creates problem quite often considering forums.gentoo.org.

    P.S. : Try an LFS, the l33t h4x0r factor is even higher ;)

    One of the advantages of the A380 is that it uses 20% less fuel per passenger than the 747. This is certainly takent into account when some company wants to buy new planes. And I don't think that airplanes will cease to flight 'in a few years' either.

    You're right but I guess that most installs on linux distros are made from some repository and not directly from their servers so that would compensate.
