What is up with slashdot and all the misleading articles? If the editor would RTFA (or RTFF in this case) he is not apologizing for the game, just for apologizing for features he told people about but did not end up in the game. This is really becoming a problem... is this FARK or slashdot?

You'd think a company like Best Buy would not allow an interview like this or have an upper level employee write a book about demon customers. They must have had to cut back on the corporate image team because of rebates. They shouldn't complain about rebates, the whole concept behind them is make the consumer think an item is cheaper than what it is being sold for, and hoping that you won't remember to send it in
You're right!! Apparently I'm not smart enough to be certified (don't meet the memorization specs). I guess I'll just have to pad my resume with a college degree (which may or may not be buying the books and memorization).
If it wasn't the source code how is this different than somebody's copy stolen in the mail? Hell, if the game needs a serial # to install that probably wasn't even with the disk! So it could be worth less than a copy. Just reburn the damn thing and overnight it!
Try out the Heroes of Might and Magic series. I can't say for the other games but Herores III was awesome. As a side note Dark Wizard for Sega CD was a pretty good one too.
I think Apple somewhat falls into the "Trendy" category usually associated with clothing stores (Abercrombie) and cars (BMW). If you consider those brand crap or cool is all a matter of opinion...

I'm sure I am being short-sighted here, but what the heck is the use of running 6 video streams and playing a video game? Maybe having multi-monitors and watching TV and playing a game at the same time?
I'm sure the first use will be 6 high res 3D porn pop ads going at the same time, while your browser is drowning in the background.
I love it when people do 1xx MPH in their stock focus/caviliar/civic... come on people just cause the stock engine can do it doesn't mean the stock TIRES can. That's right people, nobody ever thinks of the TIRES. Would someone please think OF THE TIRES!!?
I have had AtlonXP 2500, 768 RAM, Ti4200, the performace wasn't great, out of the box multiplayer was the most pathetic until they released the 1.04 "hot" patch, it helped the online play quite a bit.
Since I had an nForce2 motherboard and an NVIDIA video card I thought maybe thought maybe some of that XBOX hardware optimized code code would get to the PC version but I guess not.
