    wrong, I think that lead to the listing of

    Either we trust the people running our elections or we don't.


    There should inherently be distrust of our election officials, always every time, forever.
    If they cant stand an audit, they should not be there.

    Ever sell a house? Escrow companies exist because there is something of value
    and in the transfer you cannnot trust always the other side. Which is exactly
    as it should be. Sell a car? Notice of transfer of liability. Why? Because
    you cant always trust the other party involved. Which is the way it should be.
    If you buy something you are issued a receipt. Why? Lack of trust. Which is
    the way it should be. Your bank sends you statements each month. Repeat as
    above. I wont go on, because I have made my point, I hope.

    And yes I said DEMOCRATS steal elections.

    Almost forgot. I seem to recall that ships magazines where
    kept refridgerated. I would imagine that was electrical.

    I think they had electric motors then also.

    But yes, the electrical consumption rate was different.
    I still think it is pretty impressive.

    The battleships had electro-mechanical fire control computers,
    Radio sets, and I believe they had electric drive for the
    turret rotation and gun elevation.

    The Lexington, Saratoga, and I think about 2 or 3 battleships
    had electric drives. I dont know about driving those once, much
    less twice.

    I would imagine cooking was done on electric ranges, but I cant
    confirm that. It would be one less thing to catch fire, and I
    do know that ships of that era had SSTG's to produce electricity,
    above and beyond the drives of the ships alluded to.

    I dont know about nuke, but USS Lexington ( CV2 )
    powered Tacoma in 1929 for about a month.

    She had a turbo electric drive, so she could generate a lot of power.

    That could be a problem, yes. I cant help but think
    that that must be a solvable problem.

    But doing their own enrichment leaves them open to questions about
    their intended usage. And I think it is reasonable to question
    their intentions at this time.

    And, unless they have internal sources of the raw materials, they
    would be subject to manipulations in any case.

    Sorry, I patented the patenting of patenting a a class of patents.

    I also patented suing people, places, and things.

    You can still sue a verb, if you like. My patent for that
    has not yet been awarded ( submarine patent on you...

    No reasonable person can place the blame on Microsoft here.


    You have a very good point. There is one minor point to make here, I think, and that
    is that Microsoft is responsible for Microsoft abusing their monopoly position and putting
    themselves under the scrutiny they are under. If their actions and attitudes had
    been different, they would have more options at times like this.

    I agree that Microsoft is damned if they do and damned if
    they dont.

    It would be easier to sympathize with Microsoft if they had
    taken security more seriously from the beginning, and had
    worked more on these issues rather than chasing features.

    That was not right.

    The US would not nessesarily be the only supplier.

    I can understand as well that Iran would want it's own refining ability.

    And I am sure that Iran understands why the US, at least, might
    be a bit uncomfortable with Iran having tha ability. I am sure
    they would not admit it.

    According to the header, the patent was filed in 2000,
    Cisco bought SA earlier this year.

    I would have imagined that Iran could have either made it
    a contractual, or even a treaty issue, and probably could
    have had their choice of ( multiple ) supplier partners
    to choose from. With clauses that state that they will
    seek their own enrichment if there are issues with supply,
    limits on prices, etc, etc. And the supplier would not
    have to be the US, but there might be verification issues
    with some suppliers.

    I am sure there are many issues to resolve, but it seems
    solvable to me.

    Quite funny.

    One thing that is telling about Iran possibly wanting a bomb is
    that if they really only wanted electricity, then the deals where
    the uranium was enriched outside Iran should have worked.

    I intended no perpetual computation, really. :-)

    Just the idea that the waste heat might supplant some
    part of the power input.
