There are 6 character classes and 4 tabs in your locker:

The default tabs should have been 7 so that:

    * You have 1 dedicated tab per character
    * You have 1 shared tab (for things such as economy: gems, blueprints, etc.)

    > If you could have unlimited slots it would make running up a second character quite trivial.
Uh, it already is. "Rushing" has existed in D2 for ages. D3 doesn't change that concept of having a friend "power-level" you through the content.

To be really pedantic Descartes "cogito ergo sum" really should be: "I _believe_ I think, therefore I _believe_ I am." His original statement didn't convey any _new_ knowledge, only an _assumption_.

Besides, you don't need to "prove" your existence. There is no proof for tautology.

    > Every scientific "fact" is a belief
Facts don't depend on someone believing it. They just are. Regardless of who, or how many believe it.

    > It is a weakened belief in the status quo, and an exploration of an alternate theory. That's how science works.
Of course; hence why Max Planck said "Science advances one funeral at a time."

    > Science cannot be separated from belief
Thank-you for confirming that Science rests upon Faith.

i.e. If you didn't have Faith in your Beliefs, you wouldn't have the Belief in the _first_ place.

    Bingo.

If game designers focused on economic stability then _no_ one would play the game! You forgot the _basic_ premise of WHY people play MMOs in the first place: MMO games are all about the illusion of power. To slow down the "rate" of wealth acquisition would cause exactly one thing: drive players to OTHER games where the rate IS higher.

There may be some truth to that. Microsoft having a garbage networking implementation of (GFWL) Games For Windows Live certainly isn't helping. i.e. Trying playing Resident Evil 5 co-op. You have to keep trying that it eventually connects. Either way, Microsoft, intentionally, or unintentionally, is driving customers away to other platforms.

Sadly, I don't see Linux Gaming replacing Windows anytime soon -- its pretty much the only reason I use Win7 anymore. :-( Carmack has said Linux sales have been abysmal. (Of course the Windows, Mac, and Linux ports) haven't always come out at the same time, but still that doesn't the bottom line. i.e. Witness the sales figures of the crappy Diablo 3 for consoles.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the PS4 running *bsd.

Digressing, I really wish Apple would make a standard gamepad for iOS. It would kick the crap out of the PSP and PSP Vita for sales.

Wonder what "price point" the Valve Linux Hardware will be at.
