Or Switzerland since that's what the article is about.
I also guess in many of the considered socialist countries the gap between the rich and poor may be bigger than in some other countries which are more equal and where society/people in large may live better lifes. I also assume some socialist countries have worse lifes due to US politics just as say Iran may have.
Then again they have a high income and the government have likely tried to force people into that direction, they likely have a higher social environmental interest than people in the U.S. do.
How do the boosting using the circuitry work? Why is it faster than Apples own cable for charging an Apple device? Or the cable work worse with PCs by design somehow?
It's a fact the condenser wasn't used before a long time had passed and it's also a fact that once they had started using it they stopped using it soon thereafter.
Some TV-show I saw pointed out that they didn't knew they had to manually turn on the emergency (don't know what it was called) condenser and just assumed it already was turned on when it wasn't.
When it finally was turned on after a short while they wasn't sure it hold any water any more so they turned it off again because they didn't wanted to risk that any pipes would burst but afterward it has been said that it would had hold anyway and that it would had been better to let it remain open.
They would likely had acted differently had they knew that and it could possibly had changed the outcome so of course it would had been beneficial if they was more competent as in knew the plant better than they did.
As far as I know the Nvidia drivers has always been better.
Linus and friends may have liked AMD more for providing more information and hence make a better open-source driver.
Personally I wouldn't want to use an open-source driver if it gave half performance even if that would be better than say 10% performance =P. And at least previously I was under the impression not even the closed driver from AMD was competitive against the Nvidia one. But that could had changed I suppose.
Also Nvidias one also existed for FreeBSD and Solaris which AMDs didn't afaik.
It's also worth noting that comparing these cards without taking AMD's Mantle technology into account is to say the least, incomplete.
If it's game benchmarks what are they supposed to do?
For anything except Battlefield 4 I think it's correct because that's the only title I know of which make use of it so far.
Maybe it would be nice to see a demo which really uses it vs some other traditional method and in the future for more games but for now this is what we have.
No more fun?
(More seriously maybe economic impacts?)
But only Blizzard can make it balanced.

Any chance some other film producer didn't picked Betamax for the same reason as the porn industry (all of it?) did?
Or was the porn industry unique?
In Norway they sell well.

Because money?

Isn't it Gates who do that? Why would Microsoft do it? Seem weird.
Kinda interesting though.
Nintendo do some R&D. Ends up with the Wii. Microsoft and Sony copies and make their own versions.
Microsoft spend $100 million on a new controller. Ends up with same old.
I think they used to sell more than a million phones per day (over a year), maybe that's not relevant but the correct price may be argued.

One important thing would had been competent people handling the plant.
The problem is with the name.
Should they go with lulCash or lulCredit?
lulz reserve note.
.. and YouTube.
I have Evince installed and Chromium show no PDFs at all afaik. It just download and warn about opening them.

Now we know why Marvin feel so sad.
We like our oceans, it keeps us away from all the "crazy" people in the world.
We like them too! Keep us separated from the US! ;D .. nah, no such thing, US influence is everywhere.
But more seriously while there are more dangerous places than the US I don't really see why US would be seen as something more safe in general.

But isn't their drivers also slower? Because that's why I _don't_ want to go AMD on Linux.
