The only problem I assume is that people in the poorer countries are willing to work much more and harder for less, so if you're afraid of losing some living standard it's not that great.

(In the case that what was earlier unemployed people get the additional 33% of work-time your country will probably get a higher work output though since people are more well rested and enjoy life more. Since the unemployed (atleast here) just leech from the system sharing the work benefits everyone, but obviously it would be better for the economy of 100% of the people worked as many hours as needed. But imho life is important to.)

But there may be others which are better, QR code like someone else suggested is actually mentioned in TFA but it stored the information in the code, so it doesn't link you to the information and therefor it doesn't do the same thing as Microsofts one do, although it could obviously store an URL to, it's not just limited to that purpose like Microsofts is.

I assume there may be others which is more centered around URLs.

Not a new idea in any case, and the color one looks like shit, even though they can store more bits.

I imagine most of them can go down to ground quite safely even if you get an engine failure, I have no idea how often they fall down due to winds and such, gasoline economy would probably be quite ok since they are so light weight, you could travel at varying heights and maybe you could even glide with them if you where skilled enough / had a bigger modell.
