I don't know if I would call reproducing robots life thought, maybe, but not equal to us atleast =P (some people would say the same about animals but those people just suck.) (even less people would say the same thing about black people, jews, muslims or whatever but they just suck even more.)

Plants still needs water, coaldioxide and sun light to do their thing, and we need water, oxygen and food, sure we can collect those things, but that's only (or well, us human could fix this issue I guess but no other animal) because they are already there for us to use, we would fail in an environment without them.

They sell in my configuration, but they are crippling the hardware just because they know people have no other option han buying their more expensive stuff, which suck, and only a mac lunatic such as yourself would try to defend it or see it as a good thing..

I'm a vegan, I don't want no fucking leather, and it's more expensive because it cost more, the 128MB vram of the macbook pro is more like if Mercedes would had puked all over the seat and then put a dead body in the car for 1 week just so they could say "oh, you don't want that threatment? I don't understand why Apple should be an exception however, and if they wheren't allowed to bundle their OS to the hardware maybe they would try to sell as much hardware AND as much OS as possible and therefor expand hardware support themself. Anyway I hate how I'm locked in to the few configurations offered by Apple, and that I had to buy a new computer I really didn't needed just to run OS X legally and without disturbancies. I wanted 256MB vram without paying like 700 dollar (europe prices) more for it because Apple decided I also wanted top of the line CPU and 40GB more HDD space. They would never get by with such shit configurations in a competive market.

They figured that very few would be intrested to buy the product if it costed whatever amount if would cost more than a regular drive if it has 2GB of flash memory.
That was the first thing which springed into my mind and I thought 2GB of regular flash memory would add to much on the price, but it seems like it doesn't use the kind of flash memory we are used to but a more reliable one which cost more, see beneath:

"These first-generation hybrid drives incorporate only 256MB of NAND flash, a pittance in comparison with the 2GB USB flash drive you can buy today for $20. But the memory in the older drive is typically multilevel cell flash (MLC) as opposed to the more reliable--and more expensive--single-level cell flash (SLC) that hybrid drives, as well as SSD models, use. Manufacturers say they decided on 256MB of flash in hybrid drives as an entry point that wouldn't throw the cost of the product out of whack when compared with the cost of a standard 2.5-inch hard drive."

And if most of his income come from concerts and similair I guess he don't care that much if they are sold or not.

This is actually great because the sooner well known artists are cut of from the ties with the record industry and sold in online store there more and all the money goes to the artist or the artist let it totally free and decide to promote him- or herself in some other way such as this the better.
More listeners, more friendly community, more live performance/music happnenings and similair for your money, eventually more money for the artist in the end, what is there to lose?

I hope it develops into something better for the artists aswell.

(In related activitiys I guess the same could be said of pirated video VS large cinema events but then the problem are that some people eventually prefer to see movies at home instead, I don't know how to fix that issue. I'd rather say cinemas are dead and we don't need them but I don't know how the movie industry shall get their money.
