I live in Sweden and over here vitamine A and D are added to most diary products, such as milk, yoghurt, sour milk (?) and margarines. The vitamine D is added because we live so high up north that sun light of the correct wavelengths for the body to product vitamine D doesn't reach us in the winter because it's filtered away in the atmosphere or something, the EU however wants us to stop this I've been told.
Anyway, why is D3 better? I'm vegan so my pills only contains D2.
Yeah, I thought I had read about long ranges from weapons of this type: http://www.snipercentral.com/psg90.htm but it seems like the ranged speced in the text is much shorter, so I guess the other things where just very lucky shoots.
Or better yet convince her she wants to go home with you instead of buying her fucking drinks, why would that help? "Here you have a drink, now can you please sleep with me?!!" "omg i gave you a drink and you don't give me sex?!"
Thought I'm from sweden and not the USA, maybe it's more common to buy drinks over there, and your dating bussiness is different to ours;D
Also it doesn't make sense at all to DRM music you sell (and therefor no music) because the people who actually buy the music isn't likely to copy it to begin with, if they where they whould have done so instead of buying it.
But sure, if all the ways music was distributed in was copy protected and never broken it would work for them and suck for the consumers.
Of course Vista will do decent, the only reason it won't is that the next version is so close and it's just a middle step just like WinME was, I think some poeple will stay with XP for now and upgrade at the next version instead, that is "the real" Vista.
Anyway of course it's not a downgrade, it seems much nicer than XP, who cares that it uses more memory? XP uses more memory than MS-DOS 6.22, I still wouldn't rather run dos. Memory are very cheap nowadays anyway, and I rather have the OS make use of it than have it sitting there unused.
Also remember that the OS will stay there for a while, so within two years or so the requirements are even more reasonable.
Uhm, did my / make NU go up there? Guess I should have previewed:)
Should have been: Ultra - Fully working and enabled gpu, fastest clockrate. GT - Fully working and enabled gpu, not as high clock as Ultra. GS - Partly disabled gpu. GTO - Partly disabled gpu, lower clockrate than GS. NU/nothing - The normal version is also called NU, Partly disabled and slower than GTO. LE - Even more disabled gpu. XT - As disabled as LE but with 128-bit memories.
I don't know if this is exactly true but this was the case for the geforce 6-series:
Ultra - Fully working and enabled gpu, fastest clockrate. GT - Fully working and enabled gpu, not as high clock as Ultra. GS - Partly disabled gpu. GTO - Partly disabled gpu, lower clockrate than GS./NU - The normal version is also called NU, Partly disabled and slower than GTO. LE - Even more disabled gpu. XT - As disabled as LE but with 128-bit memories.
XT was higher clocked than LE thought, but I think LE is still better.
So it goes like:
XT LE normal/NU GTO GS GT Ultra
I think once in the days there was a GTS to, I think it was higher than GT =P
I guess Geforce 8600, 8610, 8620, 8630 and so on would have made to much sense...
The reason I've been thinking about it but never done it (because I know where the keys are on a qwerty-keyboard ofcourse.) are that they put "programming keys" on better locations, I hate that you have to use alt together with 7,8,9,0 keys for anything except normal paranteses on swedish qwerty, and the location of many other special characters, the english layouts seems so much better for those ones, and I've seen one swedish dvorak variation which had them in a way I seemed to like.
You are sure it's not a rebranded Keytronic KT2000? Have always looked just like one and thought I very much liked the comfort of those ones they always died in a very short time for me, the last new one within a month or a few, and I was to lazy to have it replaced in time:(
Now I use a Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 since split design feels much better on my shoulders and the angels feels better in my.. uhmm. the part between the hands and arms:D, quality isn't that good since some keys stoped working after two months or so and this replacement unit had an n-key which didn't wanted to "take" and an m-key which did the same thing sometimes, seems to work now thought so maybe it was just a wear&tear-issue and had to be used in;D
"Just like people who buy Zunes and iRivers so they can show how cool and different they are because they didn't buy an iPod."
I don't care about the zune but yes, that and player software which doesn't suck, UMS-support, decent equalizers/sound, more sound format support, better battery life, radio, line-in and voice recording, and probably at a cheaper price aswell.
Thought iRivers players haven't been as good after the IFP-line, the E10 is said to be ok, T50 and T60 looks interesting.
I'd rather go for the iAudio U3 or D2 or the Samsung YP-Z5/YP-T9 thought (over the E10 that is, T60 might be nice.)
There are no rockbox for the Nano 2nd gen afaik so it can't be fixed either.
I guess it's just hard for them to know how high the demand will actually be, better to produce to few than expand and produce more than is needed. Also the DS was in very shorts supplys for long aswell but it have still sold good, thought they could probably have sold many more if it was actually possible to get one...
Never mind, saw the post about 10.4.6 beeing PPC and checked the disc, it only mention PPC models so well then yes, it's not Intel version. Close enough for me thought;D
I got one with ADC (Apple developer connection) Student membership, the price is $99 for one year if I remember it right but atleast then you got OS X tiger, a dvd each month with the latest development tools and so on, a t-shirt, 10% discount on many machines and 20% on the pro models (various among region.)
So well, you can get a version for $99, and then you even get a better price on a real mac if you want one.
I suppose the regular ADC select and above versions also supplies OS discs.
Uhm, I've got the impression that AMDs is quite basic and works best when the CPU is more or less idle, but when it does it clocks down further below than the Intel chip (atleast back then) and that it's therefor more efficent for a system which is mostly idle. The Intel version however is more advanced and also works to some extent during load and therefor the Intel chip will use less electricity on a more busy machine.
Is that still true? Have it ever been?:)
Regarding power consumtion then no, the Intel chips doesn't "ave significantly lower power consumption" than AMD processors, it's just that their rating is typical there on the AMD it's really max.
I guess the Core 2 Duo have a small lead in performance/watt atm thought.
Not that it matters but what kinds of asciiporn can you really get within 512 bytes?
Sunet ascii-girl
Sunet vicki
Both around 8 kB.
"But it's not ZOMG TEH BEST OS EVAR!"
;)
Yeah I know, that's AmigaOS, right? =P
Thought it might have it's flaws as server os or in a multiuser environment

Yeah but it will take like 5 billion years!
Bush figured it was easier to develop various high-tech gear than just behave nice to others and not upset them.

Modded +5!?

I thought it was still various theories on this and no real prove that it's really a liquid water film on top of the ice?

Yeah, great idea, buy an overpriced keyboard just to show everyone else you don't look at the keys...
I have a microsoft ergonomic 4000, quality seem to suck but it's very comfortable.

People who are after 120 fps and so on probably do it for in game physic advantages and not for looks.
Of course you could just buy Mario 64 DS instead and play it at 60 fps on the NDS. But maybe that is to simple?
:D
/ Aliquis, NDS owner at troll mod risk
I think you can play AAC files with amarok and as we all know it rocks!
... and I would still have to pay!
Uhm, you are thinking about 100.000 kwh, right? :)
