And add for example cleans, benchpress, legcurls and military press if you want to add more exercises. (Stomach exercises such as crunches or front squats probably helps aswell.)
Sitting in a quite ergonomic posture probably helps to but if you do those exercises I doubt it matters that much how you sit...
Looks like a place holder and a way to get high google ratings from day 1 to me.

Wii to be Region Free
·
· Score: 3, Informative
I would have to call BS on this one. Just because blu-ray video discs will be region encoded doesn't mean all games will have that "feature" in case Sony doesn't want it. Also they can probably just ignore the region encoding bit aswell if it really is there on all discs. The PS3 will be region free for games.
Yeah, because it's so hard to buy 8cm DVD-R, or remove the casing, or get a replacement case.
What stoped piracy on the Gamecube more or less is probably many factors. 1) Copyright protection where broken late. 2) Since the console was probably more bought by parents for their kids than teens and grown ups noone really cared about copying games on it. 3) Nintendo fans are loyal and want their beloved company to survive and therefor buy their games. 4) Nintendo brand new items smells and feel so good;), don't we all love sniffing on new electronics, glue, ink, solvents,..
Yeah, because region codes have solved the piracy matter so many times earlier... uhm.. or not:)
Region codes makes you feel less bad when you pirate "Hey why should I have to wait?", "It's not released here yet anyway", "Why shall I have to pay more?", "Screw them, they don't release it here, they don't want my money".
I read that mario 3on3 hoops for the DS seemed "dumbed down" for the US version according to some people, also Nintendo didn't released the real super mario bros 2 (in the days of the NES..) outside Japan because they thought it was to hard for us western people.
I would assume that EU english and US english versions are the same but that you still have to wait in EU since they want to make italian, spanish, german, french and so on versions aswell, and I guess that if they really "dumb down" the western versions we get the easier ones aswell, but I don't know for sure:)
Price differences between US and EU (Sweden) is so large that I know one guy which import 3 copies of whatever game he wants from US and sell 2 of them here, that way he gets the game more or less for free without having to pirate it. We are always screwed over:(
"only hardware you need to purchase... a 512MB one was 100$. now, you can get a 2GB one for that price."
Yeah, with the DS you need to get a flashcart, but if homebrew is all you want you don't need that much space, but more important since the DS flashcarts uses CF/SD/miniSD/microSD you got much cheaper memory cards, you can probably get a 2GB SD for less than $50 and a Supercard for another $50. Divineo sells the G6 lite with 512MB built in memory and passcard 3 bundle for $89. The new DS-link which goes into the NDS-slot instead and also got 512MB build in memory are said to become very cheap aswell (you need to flash your DS to use it thought, I think.)
"and you can't, necessarily, use standard hardware to read the flashcart"
That is 100% bullshit. M3 and Supercard is the most popular flashcarts which uses memory cards, they both exist for CF/SF/miniSD and microSD, others include ewin2 and ez4flash and the soon to be release DS-extreme for the NDS-slot. Just pull out the memory card and stick it into your memory card reader. I think the G6 lite flashcart burner works just like an UMS-device aswell. Thought I think you need to patch NDS roms (not homebrew I think) to run on all of them except maybe the DS-extreme. I don't know if you can use Wine for this.
Oh, your firmware story sucks:(, I feel bad for you, there are no way to fix it? Maybe you can tell Sony that if failed afterward or that you had borrowed the game and had it upgrade and then gave it back before it was done or whatever;)
Maybe "Daigasso! Band Brothers" is for you? You can read some about it over at modojo. It's a music sequencer which you can upload over wifi to 7 more DS players and then each one can use an instrument (don't know if you can but together tunes with many instruments on one DS, I would guess you can.) and you can make music together.
Also if you like music games maybe "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan" is for you aswell.
Yeah need that online aswell due to stupid friendcodes. Nintendo doesn't care for us, the people without friends:(, only thing which can saves us now is fanboyism!
Yeah, PSP seem to have a more living homebrew scene than the DS, I have no idea why, maybe it's because you get "cooler"/faster/"better" hardware for your money? Or that it's so cheap to make it run homebrew to begin with.
However regarding video, mp3s, ogg, modules and so on the DS can do it all with a flashcart + passmedevide/flashme installed. You can stream shoutcast music over wifi, use it as a remote for winamp, there are IRC, MSN, AIM, SSL encrypted e-mail client, FTP, PDA and so on for it.
I'm intrested, how did you bricked your PSP? What are your favorite games for the DS? What was the better ones for the PSP?
I would guess they went with dual screen because: 1) The screens are protected if you close it (can be done with 1 screen as with the GBA SP to thought. 2) Makes the device smaller for the same screen area.
Yeah, touch screen and dual screens would all be nice, but throw in some really innovative features, like real-time weapon change and flipping giant crabs over and hitting them in their weak spot for massive damage. That should do it!
Look thru my small thread and you will likely pick up something.
Games I think I'll like is NSMB, nano stray, advanced wars DS, age of empires II, settlers, Castlevania DOS and POR, Megaman ZX, Yoshis Island II, Mario kart DS, Animal Crossing, the err.. what is it called, kind of like animal crossing but with dungeons to;D, metroid prime hunters, and probably a few others I haven't thinked about right now.
A good WC3 player can probably win with 60 APM aswell, depends on how intelligent your clicks and actions are, some guys probably spit out 300 and lose anyway;)
But yes, in general more clicks probably mean better control of the units, thought I doubt anyone can make 300 useful actions per minute.
Who said he should do plenty of chest exercises?
Anyway, do your:
Deadlifts
Squats
Rows
And add for example cleans, benchpress, legcurls and military press if you want to add more exercises. (Stomach exercises such as crunches or front squats probably helps aswell.)
Sitting in a quite ergonomic posture probably helps to but if you do those exercises I doubt it matters that much how you sit...
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiidge raaaacer and real-time weapon change.

Oh, and I forgot, the Wii discs are normal size.

The PS3 will be region free for games, the PSP already is.
Price differences between US and EU (Sweden) is so large that I know one guy which import 3 copies of whatever game he wants from US and sell 2 of them here, that way he gets the game more or less for free without having to pirate it. We are always screwed over :(
Already been tried with the DS and PSP, there we downgrade/get a flashcart because we all like homebrew so much ;)

What are your favorite games for the DS? What was the better ones for the PSP?
PS1 games for the PSP are still coming, I have no idea when but I guess for firmware 3.0?
There are over 2800 roms out for the GBA, so I would guess the total amount of titles are closer to 1000 or so.
All the DS would need is a GBA cartridge with built in phone.
I would guess they went with dual screen because:
1) The screens are protected if you close it (can be done with 1 screen as with the GBA SP to thought.
2) Makes the device smaller for the same screen area.
+ 10 super informative
First I thought you where joking, but then I noticed you had no smileys either!

Tss, it is the same as always:
"up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start"
And variations.
Are you sure it's not that your router/wifi dongle is badly supported by/supports the DS bad?
Look thru my small thread and you will likely pick up something.
