The simple fact is that no true partiot would use Linux at all. In these hard times we must rally around our companies, our economy, and our president. If we let the 'Linux Community' have their way, we will all be at the mercy of the Germans making KDE, or the Japanese with their desktop.

What are you saying? Oh no, there's other country outside USA... We should not help them. Yeah, they should buy US products, but please don't buy their products?

And after that, people will still be amazed that there could be an anti-american feeling in the old countries...

What could we do with a RFID glass? We do absolutly need a RFID pitcher!

It's cool because the waiter will spend less time watching glasses, so he's gonna have more time to watch the girls in the bar.

I think that it would be possible for a Linux distributor to get an injunction against SCO to stop them making any declaration that create FUD over Linux if they don't show the proofs to the public. I think they (the distributors) could claim that SCO's allegations are detrimental for their business.

I not sure because I lost the docs that came with the XBox, but I think that there is some kind of EULA that said that you're not allowed to do reverse engineering on your XBOX? It would not permit you to design the fabulous Linux for XBOX no? With or without the DMCA? No matter where you live?

IANAL but I think that's not legal...

Anyway, XBOX it's problably the only good thing that Microsoft did these last 5 years, so why don't you enjoy it for what it is???

  8. Even if IBM buy SCO on My Visit to SCO · · Score: 2, Informative

Even if IBM buy SCO, they probably couldn't make Unix open-source because SCO, as they claim, doesn't own all the copyright on Unix, but the right "to defend them".

The recipe is simple: take something that afraid people (terrorism) then stick it to anything you don't like. Pfff...

The big deal isn't that the Weather Channel is running AIX. Many banks are using AIX as their OS. Because AIX is known to be secure.

So, SCO is doing something dangerous for their "case". Now, the David-against-Goliath case they think they've got is transforming in a David-against-GoliathS

I don't understand what they're trying to do. Do they want to run out of business? Or do they are simply stupid?

  12. Re: Stop!! on SCO Gives Friday Deadline To IBM · · Score: 5, Insightful

It's possible that SCO wants IBM to sue them. Let's me explain this: if IBM sur SCO, it's IBM's job to prove that they didn't use Unix code in Linux. If SCO sue IBM, it's SCO's job to prove that IBM used Unix' code. The difference is small, but important! (Sorry for my bad English)
