    Does this include private conversations? How about private conversations in a public space? In other words, I cannot both be in a public place AND talk gossip? Because that is what this is about. People eavesdropping on all possible conversations (twitter) and then sue anyone whose conversations you do not like.

    This is absurd. Tweeting is like saying something on the street in public. How can you be prosecuted for expressing yourself? Time to dump Twitter and find a new ground for exercising free speech.

    I mean, you've already shown you could care less about violating your carrier contract, and your device EULA, and probably Google's Android agreement to boot.

    Why? I bought my phone in the store, not from my carrier. Samsung does not prevent me from using a custom ROM. There is nothing in my contract barring me from using any phone I want. You are spreading FUD.

    I absolutely refuse to buy any virtual currency. If that's the way they want to do business, then there will be no business at all.
    This raises the question, which is more: the extra points spent on rubbish purchases, or the loss in potential revenue from
    customers who do not participate in such transactions?

    In the end, I will buy my games in the local shop, and then transfer them to Steam.

    But most on /. already know that marketing is one of the greatest evils ever.

    No AI. Color cycling. Fractals. What you saw in the demo scene in the eighties, is now available as a visualisation plugin for Media player or Winamp. it looked impressive back then, but it were mere hacks pushing the metal to its fullest. Still they all used the same similar tricks. I watched a few of those again some time ago and was not impressed anymore.

    Uh, isn't the burden of proof with the telco? Why would you be required to prove innocence?
    Besides that, I still can't understand it. What if your iPhone broke down and you got an Android replacement. Wouldn't that trigger the tethering detection as well? You yanks are a weird bunch ..
