Absolute truth... the only thing that killed the Zodiac was lack of marketing. If you took that EXACT same device and had the sony name brand and marketing behind it, half the known world would own one and would be exclaiming what a fantastic gadget it was. If people could remove their sony-bias for a moment, they'd see that the PSP isn't really all that exciting (no touch screen, no internal storage, etc.) Ya it's a decent gaming device, but hardly revolutionary if you consider how long ago the Tapwave came out.

Get a grip. Shame on the silly "journalist" who wrote the article, with it's in-depth scientific survey carried out by Hostway *laughs* Shame on the silly submitter who thought this was somehow newsworthy (this just in - Americans horribly opposed to their social security numbers and phone numbers being printed in blogs, newspapers, and subway graffitti!!!!) And shame on the silly editor who allowed it in... though I guess it does give us yet another article to rag on.

Smells like FUD to me. A lot of people posting about how horrid Jeeves is, yet nobody yet stating why? Have you actually compared query results? These days I've found Jeeves results to be around equivalent to Google, and quite often more relevant since it is much less a target to spammers.

Compare this to Yahoo and MSN results... (bad and abysmal, respectively) This leaves me using both Jeeves and Google about equally, but more and more I use Jeeves due to better results. If you want search only without any of the extra "smart answers" - you could also just use their backend via teoma.com.

If you really wanna trash Jeeves, at least give us a real basis to do so. Me personally, I greatly dislike the Jeeves frame that stays up by default when you search (though this is easily turned off anyways, permanently if you wish).

Well, at least for those of us who prefer something that has lots of business utility, as well as gaming utility, and think of Sony as part of the Evil Empire(TM)

Plus, the Zodiac is out now!

The frame thing can be removed - it's a preference setting. But agreed that by default you should dump the frame.

Nobody is going to out-Google Google, not in the near term. But quit I think it's silly how knee-jerk some people are in defending their preferred brand... I also use Google as my primary search engine, but lately I've been using Jeeves more and more. Why? 'Cause Google gets WAY more spam these days from people who target it specifically in order to increase their relevancy rankings. It's like the Microsoft/Apple thing... more idiots target Google, and Jeeves is left relatively "clean". In addition, sometimes Jeeves *gasp* literally just returns more relevant results. Quantity isn't everything. Though personally, I can do without the touchy-feely Jeeves char and layout... so I use their backend directly: http://www.teoma.com
