Well... I'd say this would be one case where you'd buy the OEM RAM. The mini-mac's only got one DIMM. So, if you buy the 256MB, then run out and buy a 512MB stick from Crucial, say, you'd be throwing your money away on the 256MB that came with the unit.

I really don't think the problem is with RSS itself, but with most RSS readers. They suck. And they are not very well integrated with the browsers. Even Firefox's live bookmark feature isn't very good (IMHO). Great, I can see the titles. Woop-te-do!

RSS, Atom, and XML-RPC are very interesting technologies for other, more far reaching applications, rather than just syndication.

Like many others, I was wonder what was wrong with the FOX news page myself. The only conclusion I can come to is: 'Sometimes, the truth hurts.'

Quite frankly, I think we should not be complaining about the bias in the Media so much as we should be complaining about the quaility. Most of it is terrible (note: the preceding statement is opinion, not fact. Do not construe it as such)!

It seems most journalists are more insterested in BEING the news themseleves than reporting the news. And while I'm on the subject, how hard is it to report the news, really? Event A happened to Person 1, causing Event C.

Where we're really lacking in the media these days is in investigative journalism. Something that actually requires some digging to uncover the facts.

I think the point is: EA figured if they couldn't beat Sega with superiour game play, they'd have to licence their way to better games.

Sega released a beautiful football game in all respects. Game play, intelligent AI, and graphics. Unlike Madden, it is fun to play for real football fan (not just a video game fan). EA, I guess, couldn't phathom actually scrapping the cruft-filled Madden franchise, and rebuilding a better football game from the ground up. No... And yum works great on my Fedora boxen, once you add a couple of bigger repositories. The biggest problem with package management is that someone has to actaully package the software. They come out with a new version of some software, and, unless one of the developers happens to use my distro of choice, I've got to wait until some other kind soul will package it.

Either that, or install it from source. Which, for most small applications, is not a big deal. However, libraries and DEs are a different animal all together.
