So, just because it's on, or sponsored by NPR, means that it's liberal? Is that your take?

Have you ever listened to NPR? Or do you just regurgitate what FOX News tells you? Because that's really a source of non-biased coverage. You know, just because people keep saying the media is liberal doesn't make it true.

NPR is probably one of the more interesting news agencies out there. You'll here stories there that you won't hear anywhere else. Not because of a political stance, but because they are not trying to get ratings to get advertisers. There stories are much more interesting for those with half a brain.

Besides, the current administration deserves as much heat as can be brought on them. They've gotten a very easy ride from this supposed liberal media.

When ever I hear a story like this, it always comes back to MSN for me. MSN was not created by Microsoft as an application for the Internet. It was created as compitition (or replacement) for the Internet. They couldn't stand the fact that people would be using something they couldn't control. Anything you let Microsoft own will be to the detriment of the society as a whole.

Actually, I've found that people waste more time screwing with some WYSIWYG edtior, than they would if they'd just learn HTML. Personally, I use Crimson Editor and FireFox in my development. And since CE has a 'Save to FTP' feature, I don't even need a seperate client for that.

I would recommend against using SF. The site is slow, and you'll spend more time learing the ins and outs of the administrative interface. I've never used GForge, but it looks to be more of the same.

Mabye use a groupware client (like phpgroupware).

Or better yet, use Mantis. Its a great web-based bug tracker. But we use it at work to track all kinds of things. All you're really looking for is something to manage bugs, enhancements, etc. Install it, CVS, and ViewCVS, and you should have almost everything you need.

There's a burgeoning Christian development community that sees opportunity in creating mainstream video games that speak to their beliefs and values, realizing that the consumer base is available and that gaming would be an effective tool to build interest among young people.

Oh boy! I can't wait for Coverting the Heathens IV: This time, its Biblical ;) Maybe the lead developer on that game would be Ned Flanders. That does sound a little scary, though. Religions are having trouble reaching youths, so they try to use ulterior methods for getting their message across. To me, it seems like they don't respect people's intelligence enough; they think people can't evaluate the message on its own merits. They have to sneak it in, when people are least expecting it. Pretty underhanded, no?
